  • This week Jason sits down with Chamath Palihapitiya, Founder and Managing Partner of The Social+Capital Partnership, at Hack the North, Canada's Largest International Hackathon at University of Waterloo. Chamath shoots straight from the heart & hip on a number of topics, including the mercenary culture in Silicon Valley, why the best companies don't come out of incubators, the great opportunities in health care, education, and finance, and why passion is king (hint: you'll fail if you do anything only for the money). Listening Jason and Chamath Palihapitiya talk is like having Isaac Newton and Richard Feynman talk about entrepreneurship and life.

    Great Interview (JASON). Love this guy (Chamath). Like Chris Saka they just tell it like it is and it is not because of the wealth they have now. I suspect they have always been like this which is great :)

    These ads he does make the video watching experience hard to bare with.

      Use youtube sponsor block. Some content creators have gone overboard with ads. They think hey 8 mins on a half-hour TV programme worked, let's top that

    I was 20 minutes in and hit the 2nd ad and went straight to this comment to say im leaving. It completely destroys the flow of the interview.

      Wei Mira Thats what the dude is saying. I guess. And apparently his career at Winamp was also spiralling down after. Is English your first language? Or are you just stupid in general?

    • @meadowheitz4029
      @meadowheitz4029 Před 8 lety

      English is not my first language that's why I couldn't make out the words Jason was saying but I don't know I could be pretty stupid in general too lol thanks dude

    • @solongsucka
      @solongsucka Před 8 lety

      Wei Mira Cool. Thanks for clarifying. It is ok to be stupid. That is how you grow. Admitting you are stupid is the smartest thing one can do. Best of luck in your journey.
