- In this video I test out a load of Warhammer games on the Steam Deck to see how they run.
This could be useful if you're looking to buy a Steam Deck but aren't sure if your favourite game will work!

Yeah, I’ve mentioned if each one is playable, just so people know if their favourite works or not. Bit of a gamble if it says it’s unsupported!

Been playing Deathwing on it. It's a great experience for me. I always wondered what it was like to wear tactical dreadnought armor. The claustrophobic enviroments are great too.
I’d agree, it’s very good. I’m just so happy to be able to play all these games while relaxing, instead of stuck at my desk. I think I’m getting a lot more gaming done because of it!
I worry that I’d get an itchy nose in my Terminator armour.

Very cool. I did think about getting one myself but thought I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost.
How is chaos gate in general? Been thinking about getting it
Chaos Gate is pretty good, definitely worth the money. I’m a big XCOM fan and it’s quite similar. It’s a game I wasn’t too bothered about playing sitting at my desk, but lounging about it’s definitely worth a go.
BB2 has full controller support. No need to map mouse/kb.

Space marine can display in 16:10. It is listed as 8:5 in the settings. No black bars.

We were having a look at Warhammer Fest yesterday, so I’ll have to have a deeper play through when I get home.
I had been wondering about being able to play blood bowl and dawn of war. Well one out of two isn't bad 😂 also it was good to know about the other titles like space wolves.
I wish they would just make a plug and play stand alone box for dawn of war. Like the street fighter 2 and streets of rage. Plug 🔌 into the TV and off you go.
Do you think you might do a follow up showing more of the space wolves game?
I just wish they were a bit more intuitive. Deselecting units gets tiresome after a while!
A Dawn of War box would be great! I must admit, it looked so blocky when I first fired it up though!
I think I’ll start doing a few more game-related videos, so Space Wolf might get a little retro review!

FYI: There are no lower spec steam decks - it's just the ssd size

I think it just worked! I’ll fire it up tomorrow and see if there’s anything special that I had to do.
I'm really sorry, I know this isn't helpful at all, but on my Steamdeck it runs totally unmodified, sound, video everything. Just a stock deck.

For total war warhammer use a mouse and keyboard problem solved
I’d just use my PC if I was going to use a mouse and keyboard, to be honest! I was just interested in seeing if it’d be any good fully handheld.

I tried different control set ups and nothing help, ig anoyne had same problem and solved it. That would be great to know how

That sounds very odd. I'm so sorry, the touchscreen worked for me. can you press the Steam and X button to bring up the virtual keyboard?

You could see it that way, but Space Marine works the best and it's great. But yes, a lot of crappy games work.
