You’re so normal, when you kept checking which side to paint, that is something I would do 😂 I love it that you show these moments as it’s keeping it real ❤
I laughed as Amy turned the water heater cover around and round, having done so myself way too many times. Love watching you all work together.
Always busy with 2 children and a chateau to DIY. It is looking great. Clement and Juliette are so adorable. ❤
The big farm sink with the drying board is really quite handy! I’m rather envious about that!
Ah, those are daddy-long-legs; they're good spiders.
Another fantastic video....thank you Amy!! The kitchen is looking so good and love the sink with the sideboard. So nice that it came from Mark's family home too!! Little Juliette and Clement are getting so big and are such little helpers. Thank you Amy and Mark for brining so much joy!! 💗
You did make me laugh with the water heater cover Amy😂.. but you got there in the end. Loving the sink and the drainer.Loved watching Amy and Marc😘
OMG, I thought you were actually moving in. I bet you can't wait because I certainly can't lol
😂so lovely to see you on here again, we do miss you..I know life gets in the way..but we care
Ah progress! It’s looking good!
Love seeing the kitchen coming together!
It’s so exciting to see all the progress you’re achieving. Everything you do is so beautifully & tastefully done, and worth waiting for. It’s so good to see people there giving you a hand too. X
You're getting there! Not long now and you can move in and be quite settled before Christmas. 🎄 Definitely the best idea to do the cutting outside. It's always an especially heart-warming moment when we see Clément and Juliette too.
All I can say ❤❤❤😊 I adore your family the progress etc but. Always having the little ones inbolved❤
what a lovely place to work outside
If you want to keep spiders out, put peppermint tea bags around the room, especially where they might be coming in. Or keep a spray bottle with a couple drops of peppermint essential oil in water to spray as needed. Spiders don't like peppermint.
Wow, top tip! I've been using clove oil in a spray bottle but it stains painted surfaces. I'm going to try peppermint oil 🤩
The beauty of the stone walls and the wood tones shows so well against the light walls and ceiling! This will be a very warm and welcoming space for your family and eventually your guests.
You two are like watching a Laurel and Hardy skit… absolutely hilarious 🤣 thank you 😂👏👏😁
You can use peppermint oil to keep spiders away. If you google it you can see how to make the mixture with water. I also do not like spiders! The Cottage is looking great! Your children are the cutest!
You all are doing a wonderful job ! This will be a very nice kitchen area, Blessings,
Love seeing the progress made. Not a fan of spiders either. Peppermint oil helps to keep them and mice away. So nice to have family around to help ❤❤❤❤❤
So glad to see you back. Sprinkling diatomaceous clay at window and door opens will keep spiders and bugs ( ants, beetles) from coming in from outside and it is safe for kids and dogs. Also helps with slugs and creepiecrawlies like potato bugs in the garden.
Jane Harris, Thanks for that info about the potato bugs. Was never aware of it .
Thanks for the tip! I use this is my garden but never thought to use it in the house (basement windows in particular) 🤯! Wonderful solution. 😃👍
I keep waiting 😁😁😁
See how much we love you. I am not the only one excited.
I hoped you'd already moved into the cottage...hopefully before December? You all surely deserve comfort & happiness 🥰🤗
So happy to see you back!
Good morning from Canada 🇨🇦
Good morning Shelby. Good morning from Portland, Oregon Usa ♥️
Lovely progress!
Fantastic!!!!… Huge hello from 🇨🇦…..
You guys are wonderful. We love the video. Keep it up! Juliette and Clement are such good kids! I wish you guys all the best on this adventure! Way to go Mom!!
You're making lots of progress. The kids are just adorable. Thank you so much for sharing.
I always liked this original start to your videos. Such cheerful music and of course how you introduce your whanau
Great to see you again. Cheers from NZ
It’s looking so good. I was laughing while you were turning the board around and around!! The children are growing up so fast and becoming little helpers. You react to spiders the way I react to birds and feathers. Love you and your videos!! Many hugs. xx
Looking lovely! My apologies for being presumptuous but you might want to add tile or some other water proof substance under the faucet. Water will damage the particle board you added under the faucet quickly. That area always collects water, especially with children. Good luck! You will be moving in soon😊
BEST TO YOU
Beautiful stuff. I love your style.
A great family 😊
Marc, Je découvre votre projet de restauration grandiose, extraordinaire. Le site est très chaleureux ;
👏👏
I used to hate spiders. Yuck. But then I had a roommate who was petrified of them, and I was able to get rid of them to help her fear. But my older sister once pointed out to me looking at a large flying insect. "It's body is big, but it's head is very small, it's too dumb to get you. So don't be afraid. Tiny head tiny brain." That was wisdom😊.
Another step near to getting it Finnished 🤗👍🌹🤔💐🌹
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
🌟👏👍🍀💐
Progress 😊
hi guys
Hi!!! Haha
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Always lovely to see you . All looks great Eileen
Thanks so much
There are no good spiders we they are in my house🤨 I tell them that just before they go splat🤣
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can't believe you girls are afraid of spiders.
😊
Those are Pholchid spiders and they will do you no harm. They eat the big nasty ones!
Is that to be a utility sink with the washer and dryer next to it?
Sort of - it will be our kitchen sink temporarily until this whole room becomes a professional kitchen in future. There will be a washer and dishwasher beside it.
I always vaccuum spiders.
I actually have a small handheld vacuum which is very helpful to🤣
I hope your little ones don’t mimic you and their nanny, when older and become terrified of daddy longlegs…. Etc
When my sons were the age of your children and most of my life I was freighted of all sorts of creatures… and also Thunderstorms. I saw how they were watching their mummy and I realized I had to show them that although I didn’t like them … these creatures etc actually helped us … we began to announce that a spider was visiting etc ., in a short while not only did I stopped behaving like a scaredy cat but together we learn to move around them without fear.
Having that fear is dreadful and I am sorry but you might just try seeing things a little different if not for you … for Clement and Juliette. Much love and peace🙏👏👏🩵🌟🧡
I am very careful not to show fear of anything around the children, even if I’m terrified. You’ll notice they’re not in the room when we talk about the spiders. Margot (our au pair) has the freedom to express what she likes - we don’t control her and it’s good for the kids to be exposed to different people with different behaviour. She’s careful to help Clement avoid fears anyway though.
Thank you for kindly reassuring someone who might be overstepping. I apologize if this is what I sounded like.
How I could’ve thought otherwise is beyond me, having been quietly watching your vlogs since finding you shortly before Juliette was born. Again, I am sorry.
Wow you've been watching us for two years! Amazing! Don't worry we'll never be offended by people who genuinely care about our kids!
Are you kidding me.
