    I can’t wait to modify the outside of the car but I need to make sure it drives good before I go anywhere near that direction with the car 😂😂… thanks for watching ❤❤

    Bro nice vid. I wish you would have shown how to remove the timing cover any tricks? I’m planning on doing this,
    Also you need titanium hardware. I sell them if you like the valve cover nuts inexpensive. 🙂

    Why are you adding 5w 30? Base k20a3 take 5w 20 and type s /a2 take 5w 30. Plus when dropping you sub frame alignment gets messed up a bit. You need to buy collars to help align properly, plus it makes it more ridged

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 3 měsíci

      I put 5w30 because that’s all I have right now. Oil is oil. It will do lol

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 3 měsíci

      I’ll look into that! Thanks for the info

      @@BeforeTheStorm the oil difference won't hurt the engine as much if anything take a bit longer to warm up but ya no problem. I own 3 RSX and work on 2 of them so thought I'd give you advice since RSX alignment is horrible

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 3 měsíci

      @@michaelmostoles2125 yeah it does suck doing alignments on those cars, I got new wheels and Coilovers right now. I’m going todo the alignment again when it’s all installed.

    did you compare the old chain to the new chain to see if it stretched much? time to replace that oil dipstick. need some Valvoline Restore & Protect oil to get rid of all that brown straining! hahaa

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 5 měsíci

      You know, I should’ve done that lol. I did compare the tensioners and the old one looked worn out

    How do you know when you need a timing chain replacement? My rsx-s has over 200k miles, and runs smooth, no odd noises.

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 2 měsíci +1

      do it when you hear a loud ass, nasty ass, stanky ass rattle on cold starts. You will need a new intake CVVT. I would buy a new chain [ they stretch over time.. no pun intended], timing guides [ if you balling like that] and timing chain tensioner.

    How did u get the dial leds so bright? did u wire them to the original bulb holder or find long ones?

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 5 měsíci

      I used Oem bulbs, you can change the brightness using the cluster too. There is knob that has to be twisted

    How the hell did you get the timing cover back on? It feels impossible to do without smearing the gasket all over everything, there is little to no room no matter how I jack the engine :(

    • @BeforeTheStorm
      @BeforeTheStorm  Před 3 měsíci

      Mines went in real easy, there should be plenty of room. Just take a break and get back onto it

    • @TheBaconator2121

      @@BeforeTheStorm I did eventually get it, but thanks though hahaha. Just had to jack the engine up way more than I had it
