Why wouldn't I just buy a Z07?

Im sorry but $9000 for no more than $500 worth of materials for a small CF splitter, side skirts and fish tail spoiler that are purely cosmetic and untested is a complete joke. This is what you call RICE. And we thought Lamborghini and Ferrari were a complete joke when it came to optional extras.
For someone who has this kind of money they should just get the Z06 and put a bigger pulley on it for more power lol

the other reason that the ZO6 is better is that it comes with a brake package that can handle its 650 hp with its carbon ceramics. No point in putting more horse power into a car if you cant stop it. Also, on a track, brakes win races just as much as power.
I wouldn't trust John Hennessey after all the legal issues he's faced from blowing customers motor, selling parts from customers car & generally being a sleazey guy.

Hennessey is similar to DINAN for bmws. They both have become closely linked to specific brands offering power gains for a lot of money, however they are the most reliable aftermarket parts.

Hey guys, great production as usual and I've been a loyal watcher since the 1st episode when DD had a pretty gnarly hair do going on ... however I've gotta say that this has been the worst. car. review. ever. - have you guys never watched any of the other car reviews by remotely any reliable source out there? eg: motor trend, edmunds, autocar, TFL reviews, etc.. ? .. because if you had, you would cover more than just straight line performance. How about some acceleration and deceleration tests? how about some slalom? how about some 8s and cornering tests? how about grip? how about a lap time around a track? How about anything BUT straight line driving?
All power and literally no change to handling. 'murica...

This is definately the most beautiful American and beautiful car ive ever seen in my life.... its so fucking beautiful i wish taxes here are cheaper at least then chances that i could own one would be more probable now i have to dream but damn thats fucking beautiful and macho at the same time =)
So that is just another way to go fast. Your not getting. wider stance carbon breaks and as far as I can tell the only thing that makes any sense is if you can't get a Z06 that you would even consider this as a option.

You didn't say a thing about it's handling, ergonomics, features etc etc. You only mentioned it's a loud machine, well.. go figure.

Yea seriously I cant believe they made this corvette with only that much hp not that 662 isn't a whole lot of hp but I thought they were Hennessy builders of the fastest cars. They must of felt stupid when they came out with the Z06 that shits on this Hennessy stingray.
They have an HPE700 and HPE1000 packages available now soooooo...yeah they shit on the Z06 :)

lmfao i was actually considering this when i go to trade in my c6 for a c7, becuz i thougt the entire package was like 15-20k, but 30k?? lmfaooo no thanks ill just get a z06 at that point, its prob faster and the handling would be way better than this car, and used z06 would be cheaper than buy a c7 and paying an extra 30k for this upgrade

Did this guy just say buy a corvette and by the Hennessy package? Why would I buy the Hennessy package if I can by a 6.2 liter from Chevy dealership and still get 650 horse power from Chevy dealership. I don't see any reason why I would go to Hennessy there not making any improvements to what is already improved on the corvette. If Hennessy is going to do something like this make the corvette faster and different don't fool people.

No thanks. Seeing that people are keeping their cars for 10 years on average now a two seat car will get old very quickly and who wants to pay insurance on two cars. You're much better off getting one of the Hellcats, they both have seating for five people, large trunks and are much more livable every drivers not to mention more affordable. ;o)

No way I would let these idiots reverse engineer my car that was designed by some of the greatest engineers in the world. If you spend this type of money on a car you want it to last 40 years not 7 years before the engine blows and the transmission is out

Most definitely but if all you care about is braging about HP and drag racing this gets the job done for cheaper. Additionally if they use a better intercooler set-up than the Z06 it might be worth it as the Z06 has some heat soak issues
