Hot tip for extra frugal folks: if you have old empty dropper bottles (also available in the craft section), you can often get .25-.5 oz of serum from those single use sheet masks. You need a tiny funnel, snip a small hole in the corner of the mask packet, drain most of the serum. Your sheet mask will still have more than your skin can absorb, but instead of wasting most of it on layers that evaporate, you can use it as a serum. I love the green cica one, and it’s great to have the serum when I don’t have time to do a mask. Plus it’s a lot less wasteful! I do the same with tiny jars for single use cream or mud masks - I often get 5-6 uses, and I can make more combos.

That's not safe.
The serum in sheet masks is not properly preserved to protect it from exposure to airborne germs.
Storing and using this leftover serum puts you at risk of serious infections which can spread beyond just the skin.
If you were to get harmful microbes in the eyes from doing this it could even lead to permanent vision loss.

Tip for lasting razors: grab a can of air duster (typically used to clean electronics, and sold at DT) and blast your razor with it to quickly dry the blades. An older gentleman in the shaving isle at Sam’s gave me that tip, works great! Wish I knew his name, shout out to him 🙌
I don't think anyone is supposed to shave with that razor anymore, why not using a hair blow drier instead
Right on to these brands duping the wildly over-priced skincare products and right on to Dr Dray for always pointing out the better ones to try.
I get an azalaic brightening serumnfrom the dollar store I'm telling you I haven't needed to purchase Paula's choice booster or even the ordinary aa acid. It works !.. there is just too much theft happening in the drugstore. These videos bring awareness and knowledge that we dont need a ton of money . I recover many empty boxes daily at shoppers hey cut right through the securuty labels and hide then remove from the box . These videos are so helpful .

I tried that Bpure frag free night cream and was hoping it would be Dr. Dray approved. It is nice, simple and hydrating and I recommend it!
i have been the DT dupe skin care for MONTHS now. I'm 43...and the difference I have seen in my skin is IN-SANE! Family and friends noticed two weeks after I started using and couldn't believe it was DT products. RUN-RUN-RUNNNNNNNNNNNN and get those skin care products

I purchased Saflower oil for cuticles at Family Dollar which was the main ingredient in TIPS for nails a popular product sold on a shopping network. It pays to know your ingredient deck in products. Dr. Dray is so helpful in sorting out what is good and what is bogus.

Hot tip, witch hazel, vitamin e pills, coconut oil in the jar, glycerin, Castile or a good antibacterial soap for acne/oily skin.

I've been watching you for a few years..i love how you're more open to these products since you started using them ( last year?). Fragrance isn't as bad since some can handle fragrance. Also DT definitely stepped up the quality!! Why pay more.. Thanks for reassuring us bargain shoppers..

Dr dray is very knowledgeable I have been drawn to her content for quite awhile that global acne line I have one set is for oily skin & the other GB line contains vitamin C & I even bought the vitamin C serum to go with it I also own a B-pure the red tube that’s a dupe for Olay & I must say I sure a** hell enjoy basking my face with them there’s no exception or limits it’s accessible i deserve to have healthy glowing beautiful skin 👋🏼💗✨🌸

Why do most products at the DT have added fragrance? Or the ingredient that causes irritation that rhymes with “ozone” Don’t these product manufacturers know fragrance is irritating to most people? I don’t understand.

I appreciate that the Dollar Tree provides super-affordable dupes so these ingredients can be used by more people, but for someone who lives a generally healthy lifestyle but just went through breast cancer treatment, is there any way to tell whether the formulations of these products contain any questionable or carcinogenic ingredients, which allow for such cheap prices? Can we trust these brands that claim to dupe Olay, etc, when it comes to quality? I just get so scared of environmental factors that may have led to my cancer (no family history; non-smoker, non-drinker, non-meat-eater).

Happy MondayI I saw your video this morning on the subject of "Shingles"! Several years ago I asked you if you could do a video on "zona" (the name used in Quebec). I had this painful disease! Starting at the beginning of a breast, going up under the armpits and continuing to the center of my back, I've never had so much pain in my life. I had to go to the emergency room and they got me out fast enough not to contaminate anyone. Thank you so much
Shingles are only contagious to those who have never had the chicken pox. And they will get chicken pox if they've never had the vaccine. I looked it up recently because one of my coworkers got shingles. When I got shingles it was on the top of my scalp and down the left side of my face and neck. It's definitely not fun. I have a scar on the side of my face that looks sort of like a burn scar.

When I went to dollar tree recently, I compared the olay regenerost & I found the ingredients were similar but the order in which they were labeled led me to say no! I'm confused.. . . .it's hard today if something is a dupe unless u purchase it & use it, feel the texture, see the differences & similarities.

I bought the flawless shaver on a whim when Amazon had a sale once and I love it. I always broke out if I dried to shave with those micro blade razors. No issues with the flawless

I’m fairly new to your channel so if you already do Dollar General videos just ignore me. I’d love to see a DG run if not. I noticed I’m better off visiting a DG before going to the now “we-think-we’re-fancy pants-Dollar Tree.” I found $1 Dr. Naturals Castile soap bars in lavender & then a charcoal sage one. They are free of a whole list of items on the package that we are told are bad. They also sell $1 shower steamers & some other goodies in the beauty section. I then checked out the actual $1 or less aisle & relived some 80s childhood memories when I came across Joy dish soap & Finesse haircare. Finesse dry shampoo to be exact, though dry shampoo did not exist in the 80s. Now if they’d just get Aquanet hairspray that’s so hard to find! They had dupes though! Of micellar water. Yardley & Personal choice. Yardley was fragrance free. They were quite large & the Personal Choice was definitely a dupe of a very popular, expensive box store brand.

Nice selection of skincare at DT ! 😃 I’m trying to find moisturizer without hyaluronic acid, and pretty much impossible. From what I’ve researched it can be bad to use in a desert climate. Instead of drawing moisture from the air (next to none here in Las Vegas), it will draw moisture from the deeper layers of your skin, and can actually be drying. Can anyone confirm this theory ?

I have heard this from other dermatologists here on CZcams. I've heard it's good to put something more occlusive over the hyaluronic acid moisturizer?
I think lab muffin beauty addressed this too and says the product formulations have all the moisture you need. It doesn’t pull from the skin. Maybe if you used straight HA but if it’s just in a cream or lotion it should not be a problem. If you find the lotion drying you probably just need a more moisturizing lotion.

Do you have in person or video consultations? I’ve been in 3 dermatologist in the past 4 months and honestly I don’t know what to do anymore 😞 would love to see you if that is a possibility.
Why three of them so close together? You have to try recommendations for at least a month to know if they are effective.
The dollar tree near me does not have most of the products you recommend. I think it's overstocked. I will check another location next time I go out.

Please let me know how to shape eyebrows while using retinol. Waxing / threading?
You shouldn't wax when using retinol. They say to stop retinol two weeks before you want to wax your brows which doesn't work well for me. What I do, threading at first, then I just plucked them every other day with tweezers at home after the professionals shaped my brows properly.
I'm no expert. I speak from experience. I got my eyebrows waxed once while using Differin. They ripped my skin off. It hurt. After that, I stuck to threading. So. Much. Better.
What do you think of. The skin spray for the face that shows up the hair and can be shaved off I think it’s called “ New Skin”
Have you reviewed Pond's Clarant (about 4% niacinimide) or Pond's Rejuveness (about 8% lactic acid)?
I have great results with them (I'm 64 with redheaded skin). I'd like to know what you think.

Quick question. When you see Vitamin C in these products, is it the "right" type of Vitamin C? In other words, is it truly useful or oxidized? Thanks!
If it's sealed, it should be fine. If the seal's been broken, or if there isn't one, put it back on the shelf!

Yeah the type -ascorbic- (the kind in oral vitamins) is the quickest to oxidize.
Vitamin C is just finicky !
I do try to keep anything w VitC (as well as any retinoid) out and away from light and heat however
