Good GOD. Inner creativity does not mean scribbling on the walls and doors.
She’s not educating her kids. Period.
Paper is for drawing on. not walls. I wonder if they ever lasted together if she allowed that in the home they got together.
How will the kids know that they cannot draw on walls when they go to other people's homes, if they haven't been taught
in their own home?
I know it is kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch new movies online ?
@Matthias Tyson meh lately I've been using Flixportal. you can find it through google :P -korbin
I was a creative child. My parent asked me to express it through watercolors in canvas, not scribbles on my walls.
I am a single working mum of two kids.. And we love art and craft... But being creative doesn't mean "trash the house"... And most of that scribbling on the walls and vent was not creativity is was lack of parenting!... The dirt and chaos was also not showing any respect for the house or her belongs.. And the kids see that, and then they treat the house the same way as their mother!
Poor new partner! He is in for a shock!
There definitely something dysfunctional here.
mice droppings everywhere and she does nothing - disgusting. Hope the new man knows what he's signed up for.
He better pay attention to all those Red flags. RUN !
She must have other skill sets that interest her fiancé bc keeping a house clean ain't one of 'em. He has a daughter. I wouldn't want this woman cooking for my child. She can't even clean up after her own children!
A glimpse of her fiancé’s home shows it’s immaculate. Pretty sure the relationship won’t survive long.
It makes me wonder if there is some brain damage because she didn’t even try to wipe it off while they sat at the dirty table. So weird.
And she thinks it’s so funny. I would be totally embarrassed if I were her.
I can’t believe people are that stupid to think they can sell a home all dirty and trashed??!!

Being busy is no excuse
They aren't, not really. Remember these shows are PRODUCED - I'd suspect they are told do NOTHING, even less than that.
And filled with their ugly "art"
I got tired of hearing about her childrens "creativity" real fast
An excuse not to clean.
Her house is a pigsty.
She is potentially infecting every visitor that enters her home. The Hantaviruses are spread by rodents and are highly contagious. People have died. It’s that serious. Production should have shut down filming immediately and a hazmat team sent in to clean out that filth. Literal filth. That’s THE most disgusting house that I’ve ever seen and I was a home visiting social worker.
That is my thought exactly! Wait until they are teenagers. Buckle you seatbelts!
Yes and it turns me to think that independent equates to unsupervised..
I love videos like this! Whenever I feel lazy and don’t want to clean, I watch something like this. Solves that issue immediately. Thanks!
Same! I prefer to organize and tidy over cleaning but this has scared me well for the evening. :(
Same! 😂
Agreed!! De-clutter a corner, daily!
Lol
a disgusting woman
If I went into a home and saw those mouse droppings I'd turn right around a leave.
I would run in the other direction! Who could eat or sleep among the mice? It is not like swimming with dolphins!
Sorry...but you would have to be blind to miss Mouse Droppings on your DR table. With two young children in the house? Revolting!
Social services will be eyeing her after this video.
They were living in the fiancé house by that point...
But she did move out part time. Yet I agree.
There is something seriously wrong if mouse droppings on the dining room table is ok with you. Maybe she is from a third world country.
The owner was in denial & rather cocky about her kids drawing on the doors & walls & telling the host of them being creative. The result of staying too long with rodents!
Poor John, the fiancé. How she lives now is an indication of how she’ll live when she moves into their new home. Sheesh!
Poor John might be messy too
@@dittohead7044 we can only hope. 🤣
Agreed. This woman is practically a Kristen Wiig character on SNL.
So this is the “ cleaned up “ version of how she lives according to Mark the real estate agent???? Yikes. It was much worse before?!?
I thought he sounded concerned for his friend (her fiance) of 20 years. Hope the fiance thinks twice about bringing this woman on board with his young daughter in the mix.
@@cocokai9661 - I thought the same. He should RUUUN! She is a hot mess.
Her new house will be just like her old house was within months. Scribbling on the wall does not show your kids as artistic, it shows lack or parenting.
That is what I thought - yikes!! It makes you wonder what's under the snow in the rear garden????
@@kenn1936 her last husband I expect lol.
Children’s creativity is great! Just teach them where it is appropriate and where it isn’t.
@@ginacable5376 Ha ha - never thought of that! I was thinking more trash!! But now you mention it.....
Thank you! Scribbling on walls is not the same as creative or artistic!
this dirty house makes me itch... the smell . dirt and mices as extra tenants says so much about the owner ..NASTY !!
Good luck to the “new man”. I think he may have a surprise ahead.
He is blinded by her beauty and cannot see the flaws yet. Hopefully they will adapt.
He just wants a booty call 😅
I would be mortified to show a house like that.
If my brother and I had written and drawn all over the walls I'm pretty sure our parents wouldn't have smiled at how "creative" we were.
We would have had to figure out how to scrub it off and wouldn't be able to leave the house until it was done.
Your repair “make it happen” fellow is a gem. He does nice work and came up with some dynamite ideas on this house. He’s priceless.
Wow, they certainly got lucky finding a tv show to clean up for them! Mucky buggers
The seller was taking a chance on her children's health and her own by not doing anything about the mice running rampant.
You’re not kidding! You talk about dangerous, holy crap
The show should have called child cervices
I found the homeowner's attitude rather coarse. She projects uppity-ness but lives in filth.
Yeah funny she was such a snob but didn't even realize she was living in filth. She might be busy and have 2 kids but that is no excuse for living in squalor. That was just gross and Vermin- You can't tell me she had no idea. Even if she hadn't seen the mouse crap the smell would have given her the hint.
@@katbar6066 Of course she knew there was Vermin, she made the comment that she used to keep a lot of food in that area (the area that all the crap was thrown in, with a broken rocking chair on top of it all), but does not keep food there so much now.!! She knew because they were eating away at the food!! YUK!!
I knew someone who lived in a state much worse than this and he was in an executive job. I don't know how he managed to get out the house without stuff sticking to his suit!! Such a snob!!! I was horrified when I saw the place he was living in. It was like a building site. Every room was started and not finished, haphazard, nightmare, yet he was not ashamed of the fact it was a pit, it was a work in progress to him!!
Back woods trash , would rather act uppity than look in the mirror.
Classic pretender.
@@kenn1936 Awhile ago, I knew a man who had a super-weird house, too, not finished and hardly livable, as his "ongoing project" .... As a project in "progress" for 25 years or more. Eventually, his old mother plucked up the courage for the hip-replacement, and she was her 80s already. Her operation was a success, and she could walk again soon. The first thing she did was to visit her son, of course. But when she came, he would not be opening the front door for her!!!! The old lady was standing outdoors in the chill, dumbfounded. I was puzzled, too, because I was there as a cleaner, coming and going twice a week. I asked "Why don't you let her in?!" Yet he was reluctant to explain.
Some time later, the mother tried to pay the visit to her son again. It was a weekend, and the man knew that his mother would be coming, and he asked me to clean the house again. To clean is one thing; but how to disguise its semi-broken semi-empty deteriorated uglysome condition? Anyway, the mother came, she could walk very well, and she went upstairs looking sad and quiet. And she then said in disbelief, "Oh, he has not quite finished it yet..."
Bah, in 30 years, as a single man, with a good-paying full-time job! Unbelievable!! I wish his aging mother had not seen that ugliness and had not been upset by what she saw.
By the way, his mother had a small restaurant in the 1970s, and then she sold her business and decided to buy her son a separate house in a very good location, and the son moved in, and ... and... Heaven knows what he has been doing with his life once he moved there. He was already in his 50s, and still planning and planning to someday finish the house...
So stupid and sad.
No no, you all live in the biggest house together and rent out the other house.
You won't have two mortgages because you negative gear one house. It pays itself off.
That way if it all goes pear shaped you still have your home. In case it all works out beautifully you have the income from the rental.
@@missprimproper1022 yeah but who’d want to rent that mouse infested dump! 😜
@@swagner7278 a lot of people. It’s not that hard to solve
Agree 100% with you.
Obviously you have never had renters? They damage your faith in mankind.
I'm usually a person who looks behind coulour and furniture. But if a person let a house get so filthy it usually means, this person doesn't care for repairing broken stuff before it becomes expensive. There might be infestations and leaking pipes in this house. I wouldn't risk to buy this house.
I just read a comment that said if a air plane seat is broken people would worry the engine was in poor repair also. Same concept.
OMG is this for real or staged....disgusting! How could she possibly think it would sell? And her friend/realtor had already told her to clean!!!! I wonder if her betrothed has seen how she lives because he's in for a ride!
I am currently house hunting and I won't even consider looking at a filthy house. Nope. Nope. I don't mind dated, or needing work, but I will not buy a filthy house.
We just sold our custom, beautiful home that was spotless. We wanted to cut our mortgage way down so we bought an 11 year old home a couple of months ago. It was grubby. The bathrooms were gross. I about gagged when I cleaned out the garbage disposal. It took me 6 hours just to scrub the entryway and front hall. The bathrooms are now clean and look like new.
I don't know how anyone could have lived in such a dirty house. What's sad is that the owner had probably "cleaned" it before putting it on the market. She did have it staged nicely, though, which covered up a multitude of sins.
It's been satisfying to make the house shine.
We took out the filthy carpet that was even in the master bathroom--gross!--and put new flooring in and will be painting the interior. We had the worn cabinets professionally painted white and they look like new.
Not everyone can stomach doing what I've done, but if you can, you can buy a diamond in the rough.
@@happydays1336 - God bless you.

Writing on the wall in marker is "creative"? Oh heck no. Teaching kids that it's okay to destroy property is not good!
Perhaps her new man will hire a regular cleaning service for the new house.
Give her a few months at the new home & it will be a pit like this one. As far as her children and their creative outlets...they can be creative all they want, but they don't need to deface woodwork, etc....
I hope so!
Makes me want to give my house this kind of love for ME, not because I am selling it
Do it!! Too many people wait until they're selling to make the improvements for the future buyers, but of course you can't really know what those future owners will want. For example, I would not have wanted the trim to be painted over! But anyway, a few years ago I decided to do the projects now rather than later, to improve the home for my own enjoyment rather than just the next person, and I have no regrets about this decision. I love my home even more now!
Amen!! Why wait to declutter and get out the D-con for buyers? And, be a good parent, now. Greatest ROI on earth: Be a good parent.
Why are they not all wearing masks and gloves while cleaning around mouse droppings? Have they not heard of Hanta virus?
I thought the same exact thing!
I thought the same thing! People have died because of hantavirus. The mom needs to understand how serious it is and that she’s putting her children in danger allowing them to live like that.
They did a beautiful job improving this house but I’m disappointed they painted all the original woodwork white, especially the woodwork in the dining room. I loved that old darkened wood on the plate railing. So sad to see it covered up.
Nasty. I see in her future an episode of a hoarders tv show. Possibly an episode of Dr. PHIL with her "creative" children.
I see her on the episode of Extreme Cleaners.
I’ve learned a lot from watching these episodes.
Me too! Let's get together and I will help you with your house then you can help me with mine! LOLOLOL
"Andrea's got a great attitude." No, Andrea's just got an attitude....
Good job but please don't let your children express their creativity in your new place on the walls or other places attached to the home, how about using paper lol
Considering the episode is from the 2008-09 season, if her girls are still "expressing their creativity" on the walls, it had better be in their own homes, not their mother's. They've reached late teens-young adulthood now, so....
@@jb6712 I was wondering when this first aired! When I saw the tube tvs I knew this was an old episode! Didn't realize it was THAT old.
😂i have a 5 yr old son and he is as creative as her daughters but he does understand that if he show his creativities beyond his own creative wall (one particular wall just for his creativities) and papers, then say bye bye to all his coloring matterials😂
"It needs brightening up" Paints all the walls brown.. Seriously though, I don't understand how she could know the camera crew etc., were coming, and not clean up in preparation... nor be blind to the mouse poo on the table... It has to be partly staged.
She did tidy up. It was worse before.
The real estate agent said she did clean up .... he said it was much worse before he told her to clean up!
I get it that she’s a single mom of 2 young girls.... and works, etc.... but actual dirt and mice is so much worse than the cluttered houses on other episodes... plus she’s never taught her children not to destroy the house by drawing on the walls, doors and heaters.. my son knew better than that when he was 1 year old!
I have quite a bit of clutter in my bedroom/craft room... but it’s not filthy dirty (and I’m not trying to sell my house right now)... but mice? Ewwwe..
This was from 2008.. so beige was the neutral color! Just like gray is the most popular neutral color in houses these days... I definitely like white and gray over beige... I grew up in the 1970’s and 80’s and have Never liked beige!
I'm a landlord omg!!! You should see how people live! They are all "neat freaks" when filling out the application form.
My word ! Is it for real?? I'd rather skip the hairdresser than having rats pooping on my dinning table !
The Toronto market now. No one can afford a home. This house NOW would be worth millions!!!
Does he really want to marry this woman! Why?
This is from the 2008-09 season, so if they got married, it's been over a decade---kind of hard to judge now.
He was not very good looking and needed a mommy for his daughter.
Poor little Cinderella we all know what is about to happen to his daughter.

Especially if she's not creative enough to draw on the walls. 😒
Getting help with his mortgage, too.
How can somebody expect somebody to buy a house dirty?! And who would ever show their house so cluttered and dirty on tv
It is a mystery to me also!
Do you really need an 'expert' to advise why this house isn't selling. Pure common sense tells you why. How easy is Ms Allsopps job. Im English and have worked in the estate agency world for 22 years. A well presented clean house always sells fast. When selling think how you would like to walk in and view a property. You don't view show home in a mess, so why present your own that way. Just common sense!
I had 3 small Children, and you could eat off my floors. And I worked.. There's no excuse for
for a dirty house..If you don't teach you kids how to be clean.
Guess what, they will turn out
just like the mom here!!!
I would be ashamed to even show anyone a house that is so dirty
Is it just me or does the host give off Maggie Gyllenhaal vibes? Maybe it's her dark hair. Really pretty
OMG! Her poor fiance! Whatever he's invested in the new home will be money down the drain. This crazy woman thinks scribbling on walls is 'creative'. What a great way to lose any equity and value in your property. Maybe teach your children to have respect.
There next house will be the same way as the old one
In my hometown $429,000 would buy a MacMansion with close to 2700 square feet, attached garage and possibly a pool. It must be difficult for young families to afford their first house. The homeowner knew a television company would be coming to film. She, therefore, should have done some basic cleaning. Before she boxed the items and placed them on the truck, she should have washed all the items to avoid taking anything unhygienic to her knew home. By decluttering, there would be much less to transport. Hopefully, her new home is better maintained.
I cannot understand why owners are blind to what a mess this house is now , there are SO many tv series and youtube vids on selling your home , this is sheer laziness .
I’m sure we’re all perfect and being a single mom of two working full time is a walk in the park.

@@margaretf6147 So if you’re busy , it’s ok to be a total slob? No it isn’t. And she’s teaching her children to be slobs also. Allowing them to scribble all over walls, etc.
Just a personality difference; she seems to value experiences and relationships over a spotless home. We are all different, and it makes life interesting.
@@AGM-ts5bb Oh come on , a spotless home ? she hasnt got one , she is just lazy .
I laughed out loud when she said "the owner is a keen chef"... thought of movie Mouse Hunt when the lady says "and the raisins are a nice touch"
Chefs have training in sanitary practices and procedures. They have to pass inspections. She could never be a legitimate chef.
Suggestion to the mother: if wanting to allow the wall art, choose ONE wall as you would an accent wall, & allow the art on that wall alone. You could also paint one wall in chalkboard paint for the kids to have fun with.
I don’t know if it’s a great attitude but it’s definitely an attitude. I hope her new man knows what he is getting.
It amazes me people have such little insight into what sells and what people hate and the piles of junk don’t sell a house as a dream home, also getting rid of rodents requires trapping them not just decluttering and they do have an odour that people will detect
It amazes me what seemingly intelligent people will tolerate.
This mum does Not need a Finance, but Help to face reality,
The house is cluttered and Nasty....and more than likely, has an Odor....
Very dissapointed the red sofa and armchair are sort of out of place to massive old fashioned for the room, dont match up to dinning room...I hope the pest control sort the rodents problem..I would hate to buy freshly painted , showhome only to find out has roden infestation...That would be nightmare..
I thought the red lounge seats were perfect for the space.
Blue is more peaceful
LR floor repair was pathetic. Love the electric fireplace.
Would love to know where to order the slip covers from.
Andrea should ONLY buy washable markers & crayons for her 'creative' children, then teach them to clean the walls, doors, & doorways
GOD BLESS!
I wonder if this woman were buying a home she would do so seeing it like this one looks. It takes effort to sell a home. And any mother who allows children to draw on walls with permanent markers....needs some parenting classes.
Laziness...
Yes, just bone arse lazy and dirty. We are all busy. Just not filthy.
Nasty too she's lucky they didn't all get sick.
They painted out that gorgeous woodwork???? It was the best thing in the house.
The house prices in Toronto are insane now. That price would be for a bachelor condo with no parking in a shit part of town now. We all wish we could go back in time and buy a house like this in Toronto.
Well, consider that this show was from 2008, so how high the price must have been considered exponentially 12 years ago.
Yeah I know right? I live in the GTA so Toronto's prices are seeping out into the whole area. You'd be LUCKY to find even a bachelor pad sized house in Toronto for less than 500k now. Now in 2021, forget it. 700k is MINIMUM sale price now.
Seriously? How could she not know about the mouse poo and stink of the place?
So her creative children play in mouse crap...Really Andrea?...That poor man and his daughter..
BIGGER MISTAKE . Do not sell your house because moving to a boyfriend house looks a good choice. If for some reason the " relationship " didn't work. She's going to end with NO BOYFRIEND. NO HOUSE NO MONEY. Just clean and update your house and RENTING.
Yes. Exactly.
Instant kitchen clean look - take all the stuff off the fridge.
She needs to build a playhouse in the back yard for the so called art projects.
NO ONE wants to buy a DIRTY home!!!!!!!!!
Their RE agent said it HAD ALREADY BEEN CLEANED UP! But it need to be the "next level" clean. I'll say. LOL. Lordy.
So, my kids are creative, so I got them chalk boards and white boards and art easels. They can pick the colour of their room if they want, but colouring on the walls and frames etc? Really?
Omg, a bit dirty. If mice are living with you it's not just a bit it's a lot dirty. How did he stay seeing all that??? This is nasty and manage your children before that goes to the next house.
Messy and neat rarely lasts in a marriage.
I assume they’re spending most of their time at her fiancé’s and the mice have nobody to stop them. It wouldn’t take long for them to wreck the house
They get in through the narrowest opening as we. We live in the country and a recent run of warm winters (Ireland) mean there are rodents everywhere. Discovered the mice were getting in through a 2cm crack around the washing machine pipe to the drain. Neighbours were coming in under the back door, they can creep in through a 1cm space with ease. Cats solve the problem with lots of peppermint oil sprays which they loathe. Unoccupied house is just begging for them to take up residence, but she should have noticed.
If the mice have no place to hide they don't spread. Her "storage room" is nothing more than a glorified dumpster where mice can prosper.
I wouldn't marry anyone who is not capable to keep his/hers cleanliness
Sladjana Simic indicative of a rather spoilt attitude - too posh to wash!

I’m going to pass on watching this video, due to the rodent infestation, talk about a dangerous way to live. OMG! Encephalitis which causes major brain damage can be caused by mice droppings. (I had a friend who got the disease, and her neurologist told her that the encephalitis was likely caused by mouse droppings or their turtle. And her house was clean! The title of this is misleading, there is a difference between messy and disgusting! Also, there are many many single mothers who manage to parent, work, go to school and CLEAN! That comment about her being dirty because she is a “single mother” was just insulting.
Yikes. Does this man involved with her now realize what he’s getting into? This kind of thing isn’t something that will change. Nothing has to be perfect - but the mouse droppings and rotting windows - after they cleaned it yet - are just irresponsible. Yeeesh...

Do they tell them to not clean for a couple weeks before showing the house!!!! Doesn't she every clean!! Or tell her kids to stop messing carp up!!
