Why do videos of big jumps always make it sound like it's wayyyyy too windy to be hitting stuff that big? That's nuts!

He sadly went the same way Tyrone Gilks did, a young long distance jumper in Australia. It's terrible how he came up short that bad whit all the radar speed equipment and stuff they can use like Maddison has done in he's jumps.

      Hey Bret!
I was just scrolling through some older videos in remembrance of Alex. Always enjoyed watching him ride Kevin's track when I was down there riding.
Not sure but you might recall the big wreck I had at Kevin's off the step up step down when the wind blew me sideways and I landed sideways and got severely knocked out and ragdolled to the face of the table top jump. I laid there for a long time chocking on my tounge and gasping for air like a fish outta water while being completely unconscious. However I could hear while I was unconscious. I remember people asking if I was gonna die and if I was gonna be okay, and I remember clearly hearing your voice telling people, repeatedly, that "he'll be okay...just have to let him come out of it."
When I finally slowly began coming to your face, my wife's face and my daughter's face were the first things I saw and I remember instantly thinking " there's no way I would be able to take care of my wife and daughter being paralyzed." And how Grateful I was to hear your voice saying that I would be okay.
I never got to tell you how much I really appreciated that from you.
So yeah I really appreciated that Bret.
Hope all is well with you and hope your son is still riding and being safe as possible.
I technically never threw my leg over a dirt bike again. I rode my bike up and down the driveway a couple times before I finally sold it after it sat on a bike stand in my garage for three years collecting dust. I loved riding dirt bikes but reality and responsibilities took over.
      God Speed Alex!!!!!
