But Ach, ich fuehl's has everyone shaking in their boots. It lies in a very tough part of the soprano voice, and it is tremendously exposed.

Quite difficult to imagine her being heard in a theatre as big as the Met if her voice were not as freely vibrant at it is. There is plenty of evidence in this excerpt of her altering her vibrato rate subtly for expressive reasons.

I really didn't enjoy the staging of this production. I was disappointed.
Beautiful, but too much of vibrato on longer notes. Matter of technique and taste.
