Dentside Ford Brake Job: How To Change Brake Pads, Calipers and Brake Hoses on a 1977 Ford F250

This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm going to show you how to disassemble, change pads, remove calipers, and brake hoses on my 1977 Ford F250. This truck has the larger 2 piston style calipers found on the F250 3/4 and F350 1 ton Ford trucks and E250/E350 vans all thru the 1970s into the 1980s. This truck has some issues with dragging calipers and loose wheel bearings. I will show you how to disassemble the brakes, replace the pads, remove the rotors and grease the wheel bearings, and change out the front brake hoses.

Awesome video. I have a 73 250 that’s had issue with the brakes locking up. Would love to get new calipers but can’t find them, even on RockAuto. Do you know the part number you used for your calipers and if they will work on a 73?
