It was both a joke and an observation of how little the studios that made his films actually believed in them and by extension him.
Pretty much every movie he ever made, barring encino man was released either in late august/september or january/february (aka: the cinematic graveyard) in which they'd allow all the garbage they expected to fail or do poorly to ooze into theaters for public consumption.

I think a big reason Beavis and Butt-Head works and stuff like Bio-Dome doesn't is because B&BH is very laid-back and low energy. Its not super animated, loud, and constantly in your face like Shore and Baldwin are, so it doesn't wear out its welcome nearly as fast.

..how many Baldwins are there? I kept thinking throughout the video that this was the voice of Kal'Reegar in Mass Effect 2 because a buddy told me it was voiced by the "other Baldwin".

Depending on where you lived in the States, Pauly didn't even get 6 episodes. My local area's network affiliate stopped playing it halfway through the first episode, cut to news and never played any other eps.

My local fox affiliate broadcasted two episodes, they got 5 minutes into the first episode and then the feed went down so they rebroadcast the first episode along with the second and the test pattern that was on the air when the feed went down a week earlier got better ratings.

I have nostalgic memories of this movie because it hit the perfect peak of juvenile comedy at exactly the moment when I was reaching that level of stupidity as a teenager...
Also, it was available on OptusVision and I had nothing to do for 5 weekends straight as a 13 year old.

    "Fourth Grade Nothing"
That's actually a pretty funny name for a punk band considering that it comes from a Judy Blume novel.

Actually went to Bio-Sphere 2 myself on a tour. It was pretty cool for what it is. This reviewed was solid and you lads nailed ever bit of criticism on the head, this was the worst kind of shit the 90’s had to offer. Funny enough my favorite Pauly Shore thing was his character Bobby isn’t he goofy movie where he love was cheese head.

    6 things!
    1. I first saw this movie (only half of it) at a tanning booth and it was a recorded tape of the movie itself back in circa 2006!
    2. I've seen the Nostalgia Critic's review of it years ago!
    3. this review is better than the one reviewed by Doug Walker himself!
    4. I don't know if I'll see the whole movie itself and give my opinion of it someday!
    5. Bio-Dome was originally scripted as Bill & Ted 3!
and 6. let's hope there's going to be a rumored sequel coming out real soon!
