He gets a taste of Chengdu traditions with hip hop pioneer DJ SuperBestFriend, and eats pig brain ma po tofu at a "fly restaurant" on the brink of demolition.

Yeah the subtitles don’t translate literally. But non-Chinese speakers still get the main idea of what they’re talking about.

Chengdu is definitely my favorite city in China. It's so open and free compared to some of the other cities I've lived in. The nightlife is crazy fun, the food is amazing, and the people are usually very kind. Chengdu is constantly modernizing and actually has a pretty modern feel compared with other large Chinese cities, so it's best to hit up some smaller cities in Sichuan like Yibin if wanting to experience old-school China. There are a lot more 'fly' restaurants and hole-in the wall places.

I went to Japan last year and I'm a 6'4" white guy and on the plane my friends were joking around that the locals would want a picture with me and about an hour off the plane, these 2 kids probably about 15, didn't speak a word of English between them came up and started taking selfies with me.

How about the battle of Chengdu. That's pretty important for the end of the Han Dynasty. I may have learned it from a videogame in 2004...but it's based on real events. With the names and happenings being completely accurate. Pretty interesting stuff if you ask me.

Pandas can survive just fine and copulate just fine in the wild. It's in captivity where they don't do too well.
Marcus... Pandas are sedentary animals. They are also loners with a voracious appetite for bamboo. As bamboo holds very little nutrition, therefore, they need to stake a large plot of land in order to eat enough to survive. This is where the problem lies as mountainous geography with plentiful bamboo is becoming scarce in China and therefore, the population of Pandas are endangered. Typically, they are also lazy animals and find it hard to find a mate and have sex with it.
