Even at my winter i am wearing Veshti & sattai at home at Toronto. Life is beautiful da Raja. We lost our old Alwarpet days, Balu left first da Raj.

The reason why Raja sir goes to any extent bringing the hungarian string section to play his music in concerts gets evident starting @ 3:55 - not one wrong/off key note - unison is the word!
If you watch between 4:06-4:09 you can see the approval and appreciation of a genius composer to an orchestra that flawlessly plays his composition.
Live music - there is no substitute to it . You might have the latest and greatest gadgets to produce electronic music, but the feel you get out of live instruments performed by talented musicians (especially while playing compositions of geniuses) is something else!
So true. I started listening to western classical only because of Raja sir. And the more I listen to it here you come to appreciate the true value of live orchestra and what music moving the soul really means. There is no lyrics like Indian music, just sounds of different instruments coming together in unison.
