And the Supercab "suicide" door, at that! Big thanks, because most of the Ford f150 backdoor panel removal videos are of the Extended cab rear doors / normal backwards opening doors. And yes, many of us are trying to replace & upgrade from our blown factory speakers. ;-D
Thank you very much. The lower cable had popped off and I couldn't open the door. A real pain in the butt!! This was very helpful, and I broke nothing!!! Lol Cheers
Thank you so much for this... as others stated only video I found for the supercab and crutchfield instructions are good, but just pictures is difficult. Thank you also for supporting the 2nd amendment!
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
I had a stuck open back window. After eliminating the switches being bad, I knew I had to get into the door. Following your video made it pretty easy. I couldn't have done it without the video, so Thanks!! btw... a few taps on the window motor/regulator and it works.
You don’t need to remove the seat belt. Pop the panel and slide the panel up about an inch...that allows access to the 7mm bolt, then on the handle pop that panel and pull the 2 10mms...then you just pull the 2 on the bottom and two under the handles.
I know this video might be a bit old, but does anybody know the size of the actual hole for the speaker? I know the speaker size is 6.5”. I just want to know how big the hole was. I’m wanting to buy a pair of speakers and I don’t know if the basket of the speaker is too big for the hole.
Hi for the front I had to buy adapter for the front speaker because it's aftermarket from the rear you need adapter also for aftermarket speakers? Thank you
That is the same issue I am having right now! I have the new cable ends that need to be replaced. I own a 2010 FX4. I just checked the lower part of the door panel and their is one screw located just forward of the back seat bracket. It will be tight however, I believe it can be removed with the door closed.

Nice to find a video that actually shows the back door

That's a good sign, means the F150 are well built.

Thank you, great video for F150 SuperCab rear door.
My cable came unhooked on my '15 supercab lariat. Couldn't get the door open. Used your video to get the handle off and reattach it. Thanks
We’re you able to pop the handle panel out without disassembling the entire door?
Thanks so much. you are right, not another good video that i could find for the supercab.
Jason Allen You are correct. Was wondering on removal since all the videos ive seen has been for crew doors.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! I'm hoping that it will save me some from some more gray hairs when I attempt it on my 2020.
With ya Jermaine, already have enough gray hairs. Hopefully new speakers installed tomorrow!
@@bratman87 sorry! I thought I was replying to a different video that I also commented on. Old and gray, I tell ya 😕
Excellent! Helped me to install a new power window on that door. Thank you.
I have a 2013, but this was still a good reference for certain very similar portions of the removal. Thanks!!
Dude THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!

Are the rear speakers also 6.5's on the supercabs?
Removing seatbelt isnt necessary. Thanks for the walkthrough though!
Your next video should be seeing how long you can run the truck in your garage.
Thanks! Great Vidio

Yes you do
Can you unplug the switch from the back once the panel is off?
Yes. It’s a 2017 F150. Rear door opens a full 180°.
So what if you can’t open the door?

Does the door open all the way like the 150 does now?
Do you know what that white stuff is in bird sh*t?
It's bird sh*t too.
Great video!!
