There is a very tiny amount of dextrose in iodized salt. It's there to keep the iodide from oxidizing. We put it in salt because most people get enough of their salt intake, but not so much with the iodide intake. It's just piggybacking. There has been this minute amount of dextrose in your salt since at least the '80s.

For the resin molds. You do a fry run with water and pour the water into your mixing cup and mark a line. Then you make just enough resin for your craft and don’t waste it. It’s so simple but most people skip this step and waste the resin.

OMG!!! I love absolutely ALL of them!! I'll be deciding which ones I'd like to try to make! I dont have any printers, sewing machines, crickets, etc, BUT the libraries do!!!! So much equipment!!! And using it is free!! They just have special hours that you can use them. There was a cute couple making tee shirts when i went the other day. Thank you NataLee!!
Love your creative ideas for giftgiving! For your recipe card idea, I’ve given something similar in the past but ironed it on to a tea towel. The gift brought tears to the eyes of my mom and aunt seeing their mom’s handwriting and tips for perfecting the recipe.

For the resin just pour water in the mold ahead of time. Pour it out and measure how much volume it takes. Divide by two and you know how much of each part you need. Just dry the mold well.
