Was at the Oakland/Detroit game. Never heard O.Co that loud before in my entire life. But that Seattle/San Diego clip was insane. How did I not hear about that? 12-2 top 6, 16-12 top 7? That's unreal.

Every time I hear Matt Vasgersian I change the channel
the mariners comeback from 12-2 is almost a textbook example of small ball. HRs put fans in the seats, but 7 base hits in a row tires the D out, but more importantly, discourages them. HR, can't do anything about it. Base hits? "ANOTHER hit? Goddammit, can't he get anyone out?"
well Seager and Lee cut the deficit in half with two swings, HRs can take major chunks out of leads. I agree with you o the morale power of hit parades tho
+RetroRocket seager's was a base hit but 12-7 is a lot more manageable than 12-2
They might as well start calling the Royals The KC Smallballers. They take advantage of every mistake, are excellent baserunners, and will take the pitch they are given and put it in play a ridiculous amount of the time. They just plain wore the Mets out in the WS.

They also need more classic stadiums and more throwback uniforms. The Show is slowly turning into CoD. They need to give us baseball fans some more content. I'd gladly pay DLC for Ebbets Field and some more throwbacks

That Mariners comeback earlier this year against the Padres was probably the most bipolar game I've ever witnessed. Getting slaughtered early on and being so incredibly pissed off and then watching the 2 innings where they just kept hitting and scoring runs. While I was watching it, I could sense the comeback happening. Next thing you know, Mariners get the W. Now they just need to stay healthy and make a postseason run.
I don't care how they get to playoffs. I just want them to get there. 🙏

You thought this one was bad? Check out Yankees @ Red Sox 4/21/12. The best game I've ever watched live as a Yankees fan. Yankees come back from a 0-9 deficit and destroy the Red Sox with the final score being 15-9

I went to a game maybe a month and a half back and the Yankees were playing the Rangers. They were down 7-2 in the bottom of the ninth and won after an RBI single, a three run homer and a two run walkoff. Crazy game!

Man it's crazy how 2003 had two hexed franchises blow 3-run leads in critical games; though the Cubs blown lead was worse due to it being a potential clinching game.

Also, I hope there is a part three because you have yet to mention the Phillies coming back from 8 runs down in the ninth against the Dodgers in August of 1990. The Cubs ninth inning comeback against the Giants in the 2016 NLDS deserves some love as well.
