Thanks for posting this excellent documentary on the errors of central banking. The Bible teaches us to have honest weights and measures (honest money).
Deu 25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
Deu 25:14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
Deu 25:15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Deu 25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
To resolve a defective process one must discover the root cause and avoid wasting time on symptoms.
It is good to know the history of central banking and its imposition by scoundrels but that is not the root cause.
Revelation teaches us that the troika of evil, that wicked consort of politics, commerce and "false religion," will be destroyed in the end. We would be would be wise to terminate political governments. Politics is violence and manmade political governments are the bane and pain of mankind. I recommend Ted R. Weiland’s messages:
www.kingdompromises.org/kingdompromises_audio/1145.mp3 Pick the audio up at the 33:22 mark and listen to Weiland explain the problem of voting and political government. This Biblical information was never mentioned in the political, manmade, government schools and one private school that I attended.
The colonists erred by supplanting Jehovah God with the new god, We The People, and we have suffered the punishments ever since.

What about the Continental Script money and banking system set up by the Quakers -- where a flat interest rate was charged that went into public coffers? The British forbade it and returned the colonies to Bank of England gold backed money. Benjamin Franklin cited this as the chief cause of the American Revolution. He stated this in his address to the king and distributed a pamphlet on this matter to the public. The British sent in counterfeiting ships to wreak havoc with Continental Script -- but it wasn't an inherent fault of the money system itself. I'd like Continental Script and it's inherent system of banking to be explained and accounted for as part of any dissertation on the origins of money and banking in the United States.

The problem with thinking that anyone that is too purist (40:40) to have any effect has a point in their purity, is that this can be used to justify the position of almost any position. Should we have a negative income tax? Well that's better than the welfare system. Should we have a federal bank that controls interest rates pinned to inflation rates? Well that's better than the current system of whim based interest rate. We no longer have a situation where the newest sellout hijacks libertarianism.

We *shouldn't* have those things, but if they are replacing a worse alternative, we *should* use it as a replacement for that alternative. Moving practically towards freedom is better than being an armchair purist. As long as you don't concede the compromise as the *ideal* solution, and stress it as a mere *improvement,* I cannot see the rationale against it. One would have to argue that lowering a tax rate from 50% to 10% shouldn't be done, because it's still a tax. You can see how that would be a ludicrous position to take. If total abolition is on the table, sure. Go for that. But if it's not, go for whatever moves the needle in the right direction.
