You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
This is one of the most brilliant commercials ever...it's magical honestly. Been such a long time since I"ve seen it, and each time I smile so hard it hurts lol :) Kei
This commercial will surely play an important role in keeping the car addiciton alive. Matchbox and Hotwheels have kept the visual art going for generations but its that noise only a formula one exhaust can make that sucks you in for life. Love those sounds! 312B for me.....but they are all amazing!
I'm still more partial to the 156 Sharknose from the 60s. Although truth be told, that 7 Up Jordan 191 which gave Schumi his first ride in F1 is probably my favorite F1 design of all time.
There are the locations of the commercial: 0:01 Starting from Rome 0:18 New York 0:49 Hong Kong 1:12 Rio de Janeiro 1:28 Monte Carlo 1:49 Coming back to Rome
Fantastic...It is always the same impression after many years. True heritage in one commercial(!) and many times better to show something from spirit than Netflix document about F1.
Over 60 years from 1947 to 2007 ago, we began to work with Ferrari. What we've learned with the Shell V-Power passion on the track, We've put on the road. Shell V-Power. Ferrari Shell for the road.
Still find it amazing that a modern F1 car in a video,or on TV never really sounds the way it does in person.I've been at Montreal on the Hairpin as they gear down and you can almost feel the ground shake. The sounds are completely over the top. There is one really good F1 video on youtube from Montreal actually where you do get some feeling for it.
Best advert ever. I like the bit at the end where the F2007 goes round the same corner as the '50s car. Whereas the '50s car (I rightfully feel bad for not knowing its name) needed the whole road width, the '07 basically just twitched to the left. Nice comparison.
This brings tears to my eyes (literally). The sound of that 312B's flat 12 is perfection! And how about the click-clack of the gearshift in the '50s F500!
#4 312B Rich and throaty. The high pitch whine of the super high rpm engines are epic but 'for me' they sound annoying after too long. I could drive cross country to the sound of that 312B.
shifting, slamming gears, red-lining, precision, tight, balanced. It was a ballet of man and machine. As much a thing of beauty as many other types of art.
40 years ago I was a passenger in a propane powered Morgan roadster on a 50 mile trip from San Francisco to Los Gatos to look at a shopping center for sale. After we toured the property, my client stopped at Ferrari of Los Gatos and traded the Morgan in On 308 GTS Ferrari. I believe it was 1978. I was amazed that for $42,000 a radio wasn’t included in the vehicle. We drove around Los Gatos a few times and teenage girls would yell how much they loved the car.We drove back to San Francisco in record time.
The genius of this ad - it's not only about legendary cars. But also about the great drivers 0:06 - probably Antonio Ascari; 0:37 - Chris Amon; 1:10 - Jacky Ickx; 1:25 - Kimi Räikkönen;
This drive alone is what many would culminate as a lifetime achievement especially me! A worldwide tour in a world class Automobile a Ferrari...there's no where to go but down from here!
I can’t stop watching.. miss so much the v10 sound (I didn’t have the opportunity to watch the 60’s,70’s and 80’s f1 even tho I love watch youtube vids of those beasts)
Bear with me please. Normally, I have little time for Automobiles, I DO love Aeroplanes, WW11 Fighters, their form, function and SOUND. Having said that, I canot say less than the following. This is Brilliant, - pure BEAUTY, pure SOUND. Excellence re-defined!. Gotta go, gotta see and hear it again. Bye.
Alberto Ascari: Roma Jacky Ickx : New York Niki Lauda: Malaysia Jodi Scheckter: Hong Kong Gilles Villeneuve: Tokyo Michael Schumacher: Rio - Mónaco LEGENDS of Enzo Ferrari legacy
I've watched this so many times over the years...Thank God I've Never seen it on a Phone! Heck, I've taken This vid into consideration when making a decision on what monitor and audio system/headphones to purchase....... I am an American muscle guy, But This is the Best car vid Ever!
Ah yes,let us all gather together again at the hairpin on Circuit Gille Villeneuve in Montreal this June, and stand to applaud when the first car gears down for the turn. Finally F1 returns to the people.Three cheers for Crescent Street and the F1 festival.Oh joy,oh joy!
I believe they have a special formulation just for their Formula One engines Certainly music to a gearhead's ears those engines! A few years ago, at the Monterey historic races, they honored Ferrari. And Ferrari flew out their test driver and a GP car that was a few years old It went out on the track and the test driver broke the track record by a few seconds. Even comparing the mighty Can-Am cars of the 70s. I listened to it and it sounded like an angry sewing machine.. its rpm was so high !
I'm no Ferrari Connaisseur, but the ad seems to have bypassed the 1980's turbo era. I read sometime ago that Ferrari used to destroy their ex works cars; as to not let rival teams scrutinise the cars. Great ad, and maybe inspired the Honda 'The Impossible Dream' ad.
Even after years of watching this. It never fails to give me goosebumps.
Me also. Ferrari will always be legendary.
I wish this commercial was two hours long...
+78Rudys
Totally agree.
Could listen to that music ALL day long.
100%
Well, there is Grand Prix (1966).
There's always LeMans with Steve mcqueen
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
Without doubt, the car at 0:50 has the best engine note by a country mile. I wish they sounded like that today.
Amen!
+Paul Aylett Eh, I'd say the V10-era F2004 and F1-2000 aren't that far behind. But you're right. The 312B2 sounded godly.
Truly heavenly. Gives me goosebumps each time I hear it!
+Paul Aylett was thinking exactly the same, im not particularly a Ferrari person but ffs that is 1 beast of a car sound :P
It’s like a symphony!!
I swear I must've watched this clip more than 100 times, I looove that 312 and 312b
between now and the past 12 years, easily 10x a year for me!
I totally agree with you. The V8 screams but the flat 12 howls....amazing
The sound was brutal
czcams.com/video/KHgD0wJGcR0/video.html
This one's a good one too
They totally skipped cars from the late 70s to the early 90s - because at that time AGIP was the fuel sponsor.
Something only a real car fan would understand... those exhaust notes...
I love how the rpms just kept going up!
The last one did not even sound like a car anymore, it just sounded like lightning running down the street!
This is one of the most brilliant commercials ever...it's magical honestly. Been such a long time since I"ve seen it, and each time I smile so hard it hurts lol :)
Kei
Why I am in tears right now?
Tyler Durden genuine passions for cars ...
Same
Me too
The sound of those old engines... Man... Its like i melody i would listen for long hours.
February 18 2020:
...and still the best commercial ever made...
Nope, czcams.com/video/RQ18DkQTRuY/video.html
As a Ferrari fan (currently 2020) this reminds me as to why I keep on supporting them
This commercial will surely play an important role in keeping the car addiciton alive. Matchbox and Hotwheels have kept the visual art going for generations but its that noise only a formula one exhaust can make that sucks you in for life. Love those sounds! 312B for me.....but they are all amazing!
THE. BEST. COMMERCIAL, EVER!!!!
i think the 312 shown there at 0:50 is the most beautiful formula one car ever made - and the best sounding for sure.
that's the 312B,once driven by Jacky Ickx (black helmet)
I'm still more partial to the 156 Sharknose from the 60s. Although truth be told, that 7 Up Jordan 191 which gave Schumi his first ride in F1 is probably my favorite F1 design of all time.
Can't believe they missed the 80's. Gilles Villeneuve's car would've been amazing
Or Niki Lauda's 312T2
They skipped those cars because Ferrari was sponsored by Agip in that time. Shell returned to sponsor Ferrari in 1996.
0:50 Ferrari 312B (3000cc 12cl boxer), 1971 ...
As far as I know it was an awfully engine, but it sure is the best sounding engine EVER made
Edit: sorry, I was talking about the one before it
Best Sounding Commercial ever. Use good external Speakers or headphones.
Bad Ass.
Nothing sounds sweeter than a Ferrari.
If you are a true car guy you got goose bumps.
There are the locations of the commercial:
0:01 Starting from Rome
0:18 New York
0:49 Hong Kong
1:12 Rio de Janeiro
1:28 Monte Carlo
1:49 Coming back to Rome
0:41 is the sea cliff bridge in Wollongong Australia, my home city.
Still one of the best F1 commercials of all time. Geez, those Ferrari engine sounds!
I don't care how many times I watch this, it always makes me smile.
I come back here every once in a while
Absolutely the best commercial ever! Even the oldest one had such a sweet sound.
Thank you Shell and Ferrari for making this commercial! We need it in 720p or 1080i. Where can I get a higher quality version?
Saw some rare helmets too. I think I spotted Bandini, Amon and Ickx among them! Those golden era exhaust notes are still amazing !
For Ferrari fan like myself this video is like symphony.
Fantastic...It is always the same impression after many years. True heritage in one commercial(!) and many times better to show something from spirit than Netflix document about F1.
This what men are about. even without the crowd.
If this commercial was made today, the transition to the newest car would be seriously awkward.
Real cars on location, no CGI is what I love. The first 3 cars are my Favorites.
as a fan of racing i reckon his has to be one of the most beautiful ads ever filmed...brings tears to my eyes its so wonderful
Such a great commercial, one of the very best ever. It sure makes Formula E look, and sound, like a joke!
Definitely art.
To me, the sound at 1:23 is what I grew up with, and gives me chills every single time.
Its tradition to watch this once in a while to remind us how glorious that V10 sounds like
The best commercial ever?
Still one of the best engine sound commercials till this day (2022)
Over 60 years
from 1947 to 2007 ago, we began to work with Ferrari.
What we've learned with the Shell V-Power passion on the track, We've put on the road.
Shell V-Power. Ferrari Shell for the road.
God damn I love this toxic masculinity, god bless us men
I never thought that the sound of a racing car engine would be so addictive.
Specially Ferrari F1 V10 sound 😍🔝💦
I consider myself doing a Public Service each and every time I share this video!
Still find it amazing that a modern F1 car in a video,or on TV never really sounds the way it does in person.I've been at Montreal on the Hairpin as they gear down and you can almost feel the ground shake. The sounds are completely over the top. Ferrari=Italy=The best
Attn: SHELL: Please combine all the unused film 'out-takes' into a feature-length film.
YESSSSS
Those engines are music to my ears! Beautiful sounding!
Best comercial EVER. Wish they were all worth watching like this one is... Ferrari FTW.......!!!!!!!!!
Words can't really express how marvelous it is that this commercial was created.
#4 312B Rich and throaty. The high pitch whine of the super high rpm engines are epic but 'for me' they sound annoying after too long. I could drive cross country to the sound of that 312B.
amen to that!
I also think that the whine that comes from the actual gearbox, it somehow parallels the engine note. Gorgeous!
Easily the best ad every made.
And this is why I love Ferrari, the sound alone gives me chills:)
Glorious. Thank you. Ferrari will always be legendary.
shifting, slamming gears, red-lining, precision, tight, balanced. It was a ballet of man and machine. As much a thing of beauty as many other types of art.
The only commercial ad ever worth watching.
Not just the best commercial ever. This is the best "anything" ever filmed.
Ferrari + Shell = 🔝😍❤️ one of the best partnerships ever in motorsports history 🥹🤧
40 years ago I was a passenger in a propane powered Morgan roadster on a 50 mile trip from San Francisco to Los Gatos to look at a shopping center for sale. i nearly came when it switched to the v12 coming out of the tunnel.. what a sound! best era in my opinion!
I hate superlatives, but this is genuinely one of the best things ever. Especially the 2nd and 3rd car.
The genius of this ad - it's not only about legendary cars. But also about the great drivers
0:06 - probably Antonio Ascari;
0:37 - Chris Amon;
1:10 - Jacky Ickx;
1:25 - Kimi Räikkönen;
I cannot find a word to describe my feelings between 0:50 - 1:11 . I just can’t get enough of that feeling
I have to admit, that was EPIC, what a great mix.. thanks for the suggestion!
This drive alone is what many would culminate as a lifetime achievement especially me! A worldwide tour in a world class Automobile a Ferrari...there's no where to go but down from here!
I just watch this over and over! Bravo!
I could listen to this over and over and over again
Bro I love this, childhood commercial
4 months
One of the best commercials I have ever seen. Ferrari cars are legendary, both the street and F1 cars. Enzo was the man!!!
I can’t stop watching.. miss so much the v10 sound (I didn’t have the opportunity to watch the 60’s,70’s and 80’s f1 even tho I love watch youtube vids of those beasts)
Truly, truly music to my ears!
I take off my hat to the team that made this commercial come true. Very well done.
It didn't make me want to buy Shell gas, but I sure need a Ferrari...now!
(There you go Bernie, those are the sounds we miss).
I still get goosebumps after every switch
Bear with me please.
Normally, I have little time for Automobiles, I DO love Aeroplanes, WW11 Fighters, their form, function and SOUND.
Having said that, I canot say less than the following.
This is Brilliant, - pure BEAUTY, pure SOUND.
Excellence re-defined!.
Gotta go, gotta see and hear it again.

Awesome 👏👏👏👏. It’s a pity the F1 cars of today don’t sound like this anymore ☹️
Alberto Ascari: Roma
Jacky Ickx : New York
Niki Lauda: Malaysia
Jodi Scheckter: Hong Kong
Gilles Villeneuve: Tokyo
Michael Schumacher: Rio - Mónaco
LEGENDS of Enzo Ferrari legacy
Cant help but watch it over and over and over!
...sent shivers down my spine. Best commercial ever !
1.12 EARGASM! BEST SOUND EVER!
Yes! Very nice bravo. some of the sweetest sounds from the greatest cars ever.
You are DOA! Listening to this once a day will definitely take the edge off!
I've watched this so many times over the years...Thank God I've Never seen it on a Phone!

Thank you for posting this!
The best sounding video on CZcams. Absolute eargasm!
Best four minutes of my life! (I watched it twice...)
No words do justice to the sound a ferrari engine makes. Like the little jump at 0:25.
danielmy08 true
One of the better videos on CZcams.
Hands down.
Thanks for posting this! Awesome entertainment!! This is the stuff of legends.
A complete history of Ferrari ICE’s.
O melhor comercial que já vi .
very nice, this video was never completely shown on italian televisions
My favourite commercial!
the drivers are: Alberto Ascari, John Surtees, Chris Amon, Jacky Ickx, Michael Schumacher (correct?)
8
I believe they have a special formulation just for their Formula One engines
Certainly music to a gearhead's ears those engines!

I listened to it and it sounded like an angry sewing machine.. its rpm was so high !
Probably one of the best gas commericals ever produced.
@zephyrod that was pretty epic man. i loved how the music was ALMOST in sync with the gear change in the tunnel... that part was epic, nice one!
I'm no Ferrari Connaisseur, but the ad seems to have bypassed the 1980's turbo era. I read sometime ago that Ferrari used to destroy their ex works cars; as to not let rival teams scrutinise the cars. Great ad, and maybe inspired the Honda 'The Impossible Dream' ad.
this ad is the greatest car ad ever 😆😆😆
nothing comes even close 🙌🙌🙌
