You guys should set up an official mod that you keep updated to easily verify runs. It could be able to generate unique identifiers on a run, it could record each run and dump if not saved/pb, and so much more. It might help the verification process
Apparently this is in the works, IDK tho. Either way, the best place to suggest things like that is probably the MCSR discord server

easier said than done, recording runs is quite resource intensive and would provide an even larger disadvantage towards lower end pc's, and it would be difficult to differentiate practice runs from real runs client-side. definitely could be possible, but the practical value is limited.

I really like watching your videos even though I'm not a speedrunner myself. I just want to suggest to make more obvious indicators when using another clip from another speedrunner for reference. I was kind of getting confused when you switch it to another clip like I can't instantly recognize if the current clip playing was the WR or FWR or just for reference. I think it will help to cause less confusion for us viewers who are not familiar with the speedrunning community. Thank you!

Absolutely cackling at the idea of just erasing the ghast by unloading the chunks
What if they turn the render dist to 2 when entering the fortress, so the odds for blaze to spawn increases ?
(It does get harder to find a blaze spawner, but if you know where to go already, maybe it's a good ideia(?) I really dont know)
5 render distance is optimal in 1.16 warped/ssv fortresses, but it's very hard without fire res (5 is used instead of 2 because 2 has very few spawning spaces inside the fortress). The main issue is that zombie pigmen and other mobs will block up the mobcap. In 1.16, warped and soul sand valleys spawn these mobs less frequently so it is viable.

Does anyone know why starlight isn't allowed in 1.15? My guess is that the developer doesn't want to update it for previous versions of the game, like most other mods out there
It changes the light engine, making it not vanilla. Unlike phosphor, which just optimizes the existing engine.
