The best modeling agencies mentor their models and help them get placed in as many jobs as possible. Their task is to market you and find your work. The agencies client list should give you a bit of a heads up as to what sort of work you will be doing for them. Is their list full of high-end fashion names or local catalog companies?

Can't wait to get started. I think my mom supports me I'm only 13 unfortunatly but good thing is that i have more time to actually know more about this. Next step for me is to convince my dad wish me luck. Also my favs are, IMG,Elite. IMG specifically cause. Halima Aden really inspired me me and her have so many simalrities etc... anyways I'm grateful my mom and sister support me i just hope i don't fail my 2021 plans are to get a part time job yes, a part time job I can work lmao then to focus on school and hopefully go to Fashion Camp at IMG academy if someone is reading this wish you the best of luck and hope you reach your goal.

I have so many questions. Loved this video. Your focus was spot on. I hope you make a video on what is not an agency. The "management" word is a bit of concern as there are so many so called "management" scams in NYC because if they use the word in "management" models think it's appropriate to pay to be in their agency.

This is nice, I see, a lot of your viewers, are confused about, finding a agent, they might still be confused after, they apply to one of these agencies. If they don't get a reply, so many, people, are faced with agencies, who charge fees, (up front) and those agencies, don't care if your successful or not. The fees, help to pay their bills, if your lucky, you might find some work and some of them host their own fashion shows, (which many of them train you to be in) that might get you some experience. I hope, people, will think of modeling as a way to make extra income, (if they have other career objectives) this way you will, know, if your ahead of the game, according to your expenses.

Yeah, but its much easier to get a mother agency in SA and have them place you abroad.

If you go on the website models.com and go to the top right to agencies you can filter it to agencies in your country/continent! Then, it organizes it from the biggest to smallest agencies in that area! Hope this helps☺️
Hi FP 😊 Kind of late commenting here, but I have a question for you if you ever manage to see this! I’ve recently been applying to agencies, and I was just contacted by Crawford Models and Ford Models this week, who are both interested in signing me. I’ve never heard of Crawford before so I’m assuming it’s probably not the best option for me, but my question is this: should I accept the offer from Ford Models, or should I wait to see if an agency I love more will get back to me? I just don’t want to miss my opportunity since I’m 24 and I know I’m starting late in the game (I did model at 18 for a short while tho!)

Hey so I have a question. I live in New Zealand which is pretty small and far away, will that decease my chances of getting scouted by one of these big agencies. I’m also 16 and still in school
I am from England and the agencies I have gone to have said I am too tall to represent. I have done London new York and paris fashion week but would like to get an agent but if they won't represent becaus eof my height what am I meant to do? I am 6ft 2 and the majority of agencies I talked to said they don't represent people over 6ft 1 what should I do?

Hi, I'm a 21 year old Nigerian based in Botswana, I have have dreams and aspirations to be a model, I just wanted to ask how long does an angecy take to reply to my application?
And I also need advice on whether I should sign with an agency that is Interested in me here in Botswana or keep trying my luck with the bigger international agencies.?
depending on how "hot" you are or how "unique" you are, the call back may take weeks or sometimes even months. and i suggest not putting all your eggs into one basket, keep submitting to other agencies but don't shy away from your mother agency..that is..unless you get a better offer else where. good luck!

The height rlly doesn’t matter. It’s all about your looks and personality, if they sign you to the agency you most likely won’t do runway but can do commercial shoots!☺️

It’s preferred that you go completely natural, but you can still give it a shot with dyed hair! But if you do get signed, they will most likely tell u to go back natural!

Get some poloriods taken and a video of you walking then send of to agencies. I suggest agencies such as elite, next or img because those agencies are worldwide. However you can still apply to agencies in different cities. Good luck

Hey first thing take some Polaroids and do a video of you walking back and forth towards the camera twice stating your name and age. From here applie to agencies either in NY or LA fashion is more NY commercial modeling is more LA. Best way to apply is go to a website called models.com and go to agencies theres section where you can choose the country and city of where the agencies are located

Either but it's best to have braids with your natural hair. The agency and the clients for that matter want to see you in your most natural state
