No better way to instill distrust, than to give an authority figure the prerogative to LIE to those they have authority over.
Don't talk to police.
Old guy calls his supervisor who is probably 20 yrs younger than him.
Thugs and bullies with guns and badges, but the moment there's a school shooting these tough guys are nowhere to be found.
Yep
Huh? You are literally saying when there’s a school shooting that cops don’t get involved? Who do you think stops them? Teachers? Students?
@@adamchatman9975 - are we talking about one specific incident now? Originally it was all of them. The dynamics of things can really change depending on the details. So are we saying police are nowhere to be found anytime there’s a school shooting? Or just uvalde? Clarity
Man these police officers are getting so easily baited into doing something stupid = taxpayers footing the bill over and over.
Regarding the second video, Officer Cagle resigned and Officer Mendoza was placed on unpaid leave with extra training. Apparently, the supervisor who came out corrected the officers on the spot, from what I've read.
thanks!
Haven't these clowns got the memo yet that public photography is NOT a crime.
Look at that when this gentleman said he was going to file a complaint. This guy didn’t blink. They don’t care because he knows he’s not getting in trouble.
Good for this guy, he knows his rights
There is no assumption of privacy on a public road.
Barrientes is now a captain in the Fort Wayne police department.
Baldy, in the second video resigned before the PD could finish their investigation, the other guy was placed on unpaid leave.
It warms my heart that asshole was fired. Too bad he's going to be doing the same thing the next county over.
This cop needs training (minimally) and is the reason why some cops need to lose their qualified immunity!
No. They need psych evaluations before being allowed to join the force
"Arrest me or leave me the fuck alone!"
The stop and ID thing just never stops.. Basically cops have been getting aways with this for 50 years or more, and apparently will never stop thinking they have the right to ignore your rights and ID anyone they please for any reason they want.. And coming out of the academy they clearly are NOT told otherwise..
And this one cop in particular more than once tried to get this citizen to fight him.. How do you get to keep your badge in that scenario?
These junior high bullies just caught a lawsuit.
“Wouldn’t be the first.” Lol. Why am I not surprised?
why does any cop participate in such a childish exchange. they should maintain a professional and courteous demeanor and stop aggravation people.
"He is taking pictures of other people vehicles and license plates which is against the law" OMG the level of ignorance on this useless bully
Both officers need to be fired, first officer for putting his hands on a citizen without cause and the other officers for not protecting the public from the officer escalating the situation.
Thugs behaving like thugs with their disrespected oaths and tin.
How did he really say 'YOUR REFUSAL TO GO', after REPEATEDLY telling him that yes he was being detained... LMAO 🤦🏽♂️
Detective Tegtmeyer looks like he'd be happier busting taillights out of out-of-towners' cars on a deserted highway.
At the end of the day, that cop is a person and a little bit of civility goes a long way
Tell that to your rights buddy
7:39 is that ring a service award?
When law officers don't know the law
When peace officers break the peace
That cop was in 3 different fighting stances throughout the conversation.
7:39 is that ring a service award?
they're bothering innocent civilian on public place who is minding his own business
7:39 This cop is well known and fell to a perfectly executed sting op. He was protected by the blue line and the photojournalist gave a sacrifice.
Cop wants to escalate; illegal detention, liars….
7:39 is that ring a service award?
Who really escalated the situation?
I hope he sues the shit out of them.
This is perfect guy to see people knowing their rights
That cop needs to be used for baseball practice.
seems like it would be more suspicious across the street, like someone not wanting to be noticed as opposed to him taking pic/vids CLOSER TO THE BUILDING, RIGHT WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE HIM. That cop with the shades on would fit nicely as a character on RENO 911...
So they must train escalation in the academy. Because they sure do not deescalate on the streets. Do away with qualified immunity.
The day that this will stop is when instead of the money for the lawsuit coming from the rest of the taxpayers. It comes straight from the pensions
Wow these guys are true Americans real patriotism at work , no bs just facts love it 👏 👌 👍
At the moment he was assaulted by that officer, both officers had already stated plainly that the accident scene had been dealt with - and that it was no longer an accident scene. So the camera man could not possibly have been interfering with an accident scene at the moment he was assaulted, because no accident scene existed at that time. They are on video actually admitting that they have nothing to justify that interaction, other than the fact that it bugged them.
Watching these videos is like watching a movie that has no conclusion. Did anything happen after these incidents?
Rick said it best...."the officer is creating a problem that doesn't exist..." That could be the title of these videos.
“There is no shortage of despicable law enforcement departments in the USA.”
― Steven Magee
7:39 is that ring a service award from the chief?
This law enforcers are not dumb; they choose to be dumb because Qualified Immunity protects them when they violate ppls rights! Fact!
It is only suspicious if you are a fearful cop.
I love it when cops display total confidence in their ignorance of the law, only to have that confidence shattered by reality in epic proportions. Yes, I'm talking about former officer Cagle. The cop that attacked an injured man that was not even detained. Then, proceeds to take the only ambulance called to the scene because he hurt his finger while attackin his victim. At least he didn't attack a blind man.
7:39 is that ring a service award from the chief?
When the senior officer can't handle he calls for "Mendoza" the junior patrolman ?
The only way I see to hold our public officials accountable for their actions is to hold them personally responsible. Our taxes should not be used to pay for their f@€¥ ups.
And cops wonder why they are hated so much .
"what is your name ?" No it is not what
I'm glad to see people are FINALLY having enough of cops BS and standing up for themselves.
Just because someone has power, doesn't make them untouchable or a god
The white 'detective' literally said 'we don't know' when asked what crime he committed... hahahahahahahahaha
The thing that pisses me off the most about these is that these cops can think that just because they have qualified immunity that they could do whatever the f*** they want and not pay and if they do get a lawsuit the taxpayer has to pay I bet you if they paid out of pocket and it came out of their f****** paycheck they'll think twice before they f****** do anything stupid
Tyrants like that Sgt wonder why cop's get shot, safety instead of arrogance.
What other job can a person get were they can have no knowledge of the job they are supposed to be doing and still get paid around $75 an hour? This be a minimum wage job.
Looks to me like this guy looking for trouble just as much as the cops.
7:39 is that ring a service award from the chief?
Lawsuit?
For what?
These tyrants are THICK! Their egos have completely taken over with their pure arrogance, frustration & unprofessional anger so blatantly obvious - they are not used to people "questioning" their authority and challenging them on lawfully protected activity.
They think they are kings
I agree fully with the rights of the photographer and that he should push back on wrongful detainment. I'm also really glad that while the photographer was provoking at times, the officer did not lean immediately into violence (in the first clip). It sucks that that's how low the bar is set...
Thank you for keeping the streets safe from these dangerous criminals 🤣🤣🤣
I can’t tell where the cop rambling started or ended
Cop: "this accident is said and done. This accident scene is over"
Also cop: "get off our accident scene! You're interfering with our investigation"
🤡🐷
What a WRONGFUL COP.
And y'all wonder why we hate Cop's!
Cough heavily in his face, happens when frustrated
Slapping a phone out of someone’s hand is illegal, camera man did not commit a crime. Officers will face penalty or lawsuit!
Please post the links to the original videos in your description section. Thank you!
I have seen these same kind of thugs pull this chip in sleezy bars. One of them gets in some ones face at a table and then his buddies all bum rush the victim and lay a beating on it. It is cowardly and disgusting there and it is cowardly and disgusting when the police pull the same chip here. When they ask you why you are videoing just tell them it is two slow to sketch it.
Police keep using suspicion for detaining when they can’t articulate reasonable suspicion of a crime. There’s a big hole in their training on constitutional and civil rights laws.
This is what cops do.
Cagle was fired for this.
These sensitive butterflys with badges then wonder why they get the hate.
Brazoria County is in Texas wich falls under 38.02 wich means this man only has to i.d if he has been awfully arrested. These cops should be fired immediately.
Why didn't they ask if the man recording happened to get the accident on video, or if maybe he witnessed it? They were investigating an accident scene, right? Just a thought.
Throwing their weight around...
That cop is childish
Another cop that needs to be dismissed
Threat under color of law, on public sidewalk, no RAS, KISS OFF
They only care because he acts as a security camera to capture any unjustified activities they might commit.
@@OH_MY_DOGGG they can tamper with, withhold, and delete the video from their bodycams
@@OH_MY_DOGGG withholding evidence is what they should do? That's an example of corruption, hiding the truth from the public.
Police have deleted their own bodycam video purposefully, not bcs of the software or losing the timestamp.
this is the type of encounter that needs to be dealt with by the auditor. if the cop has no authority to detain you and you walk away and he puts his hands on you a warning should be given to the officer followed by the statement if you touch me again unlawfully, i will defend my self . then do it. you may take the ride but make sure you take care of business with the one that started it.stand up for your rights . we have a legal right to defend and disobey against unlawfull orders and force.
This is nothing new about police stupidity. We're just doing our job as usual.
File a lawsuit, that's the only way...
Somebody in a comment section once said "I don't think all cops are bad because the actions of a few. I know all cops are "bad" because all cops, as condition of their employment, swear to enforce all laws, including laws which are unjust and initiate violence on peaceful people. It's the job they are sworn to do. Pledging to suspend morality and logic in order to unquestionably impose the will of psychopaths and sociopaths on your fellow Man is morally unacceptable. So, yes all cops are bad, but not because of the actions of a few, there are good people, and there cops who are otherwise good people, but there are no good cops.
" I happen to think this was very well said.
We have given up so much in 21 years.
Wow this cop digs himself a serious ditch.
Instead of saying “am I being detained or am I free to go” over and over again, he should of requested his supervisor
Just refuse to even talk to them. You’re never going to explain basic common sense to them since they don’t have any to start with.
OMG 😱 I wouldn’t dare tell a cop (🤨DONT YOU TOUCH ME ) I know I suppose to have certain rights to protect me but 😳 it never ends good for me
And I loved the cop's jerk question, "Do you sign?" That could not possibly have been relevant to what he claimed to be investigating. The guy should have shown him some sign language, since it is 1A protected speech.
The Secret Service does not make law.
6:19 "Which is against the law" oooooookay buddy, suuuure it is. How 'bout you go ahead and cite that law?! It would be a new one to SCOTUS, too!
To this day he is still asking if he is detained or free to go.
“You can’t take pictures of license plates..”
Plates that are clearly visible and are captured on dozens of other cameras including those used by cops, citizens phone cameras, and a plethora of surveillance cameras every single day? Those same plates?!?
oh sure a "law enforcement officer may ask a citizen for their ID"
BUT when that tyrants only words is "what is your name?" HIMSELF must be charged violating this / failure to ID
your not going to have ANY freedom until these tyrants face charges for violating such BASIC LAWS
It's amazing how police don't know the laws that they're supposed to enforce. All the officer has to do is say no. These guys are embarrassing themselves
lol at the fine specimen of the master race in the infowars shirt walking by at 3:50
They don't even know what the law is they're so ignorant
This is a hold over from the "lemme see your papers, n----r"
This is old. When someone puts their original video on CZcams someone else shouldn't be allowed to copy it and put it on their CZcams channel
Fort Wayne Police never have any repercussions for the wrongs they do. There's some good ones I met but the bad ones are out of control.
You should have done your research and shared more information, that last officer was fired for that assault and the guy sued.
Shit, Rick didn't even watch the video, He would have mentioned the ring at 7:39.
Lol second cop looks straight outta Reno 911 😂
Police need a law to stand on when harassing citizens.
