I used to think negative about this great scholar because of what the mullahs say about him. When I came to listen to him I found him very logical, tolerant and knowledgeable scholar that respects others and expresses his opinion in the light of Quran and sunnah.

I thought Ghamdi sahb arguments will be like an atheist but after listening him , he's such a pro intellectual person. Still on some points am disagreeing with him, but his thoughts and the way he explained Islam (Deen) caught me.

I started listening only recentlyI am deeply impressed by his knowledge his calm temperament and immense tolerance. I wish I had known this great scholar earlier. So far all the explanations he has given to his opponents I find correct. Pray to Almighty for his health and long life and protection from enemies. Ameen.

بہت بد قسمتی ہے ہماری کہ غامدی صاحب جیسےعظیم شخص کو کچھ انتہا پسند لوگوں کی وجہ سے اپنے ہی ملک سے دور جانا پڑا...آج سے دس پندرہ سال پہلے کتنی جوبصورتی سے اپنے اپنے موقف پیش کرتے تھے اور تحمل سے ایک دوسرے کو سنتے تھے اور اب کوئ بھی اپنا موقف دینے سے ڈرتا ہے کہئ کافر نہ کہ دیا جاۓ اور انتہا پسندی کا نشانہ بنا دیا جاۓ...اللہ سے دعا ہے وہ ہمیں صبر اور برداشت کرنے کی توفیق دے آمین

I was so surprised upon knowing the fact that many people asked for further explanation on the issue of "beard" in Islam and quoting a verse from the Holy Qur'aan from Al-Rome 30:30. This is clear that many people have extracted the meaning by their own that the principle of being on the right path is by adopting the law nature as the basis of Islam. Since growing of Beard is under the law of nature so it should not be shaved. This is not the true understanding of this verse. And if it is true then those asking question with the reference of this Verse 30:30, should not cut their hair on the head, and beard at all, and also the pubic hair. This is not what this Verse refers to. Ghamidi Sahib is a great scholar and is a very learned person. He is calm and cool and has a lot of patience. And he explained it very well. The verse 30:30 has nothing to do with keep Beard and not cutting it", this end of it. I wonder how people mold the meaning of Quaranic Verses according to their understanding. I see a man with beard looks HANDSOME regardless of any religious attachment. But we can keep beard as Sunnah of our Prophet SAW. I seek forgiveness from Allah AWJ for all my deeds that by any means hurt anyone's feeling after reading my comments. Ameen

M reading ghamidi saab tafseer e Quran albayan it consists of 5 volumes m on its 5th volume by the Grace of Allah v well written n easy to understand iv read few other tafaseers of diff scholars but ghamidi saab tafseer is really v good. Secondly, kindly make this albayan tafseer brief in one volume. Iv learned a lot from ghamidi sir lectures n question answer sessions they r v thought provoking. Thanks
