Hi, I just wanted to point out that there is a little error at 3.05, I say that the hydrogen and nitrogen don't condense because they have 'higher boiling points', but I meant to say that they have 'lower boiling points'. Sorry about that everyone! We'll try to redo the vid soon
is this the same as 0620 chemistry?
I've been replaying this over and over as i didn't understand it. :/
Ahaa i was confused a bit. Thanks for clarifying
can you make a video about isomers thank you! 555
Thank you for the clarification 😅😅😅
I watched an entire advert because you deserve so much more credit for the work you're doing. 👏👏👏
Thank you!
I want to thank you for all your excellent videos on chemistry and physics. I have been teaching those subjects up to A-level for 53 years, using the Cambridge syllabus, and your presentations are spot on for the IGCSE courses. Appropriate amount of information, excellent scaffolding of ideas, great graphics and animations for visual learners, and good simple English for second-language learners. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you!
Change My Mind: Cognito is a lifesaver
My Chemistry improved from a 28% to 83% and my Physics improved from a 33% to 63% (Physics is kinda out of place but imma just place it here) since I started using his videos to understand concepts so much. I love your vids, They Clear, easy and short enough for me to learn but still be able to digest it in small pieces.
~A Fellow Student taking their GCSE’s this year(2021), Singapore
U deserve so much more than just a 105k subs, I’ve shared about you to my friends and they have started to do better in their sciences and some even maths. Cognito, to me, is the saviour of my results, the reason why I actually have a chance now.
🤩🤩 Thanks so much Plebity, we really appreciate it!! Well done with your scores, that's awesome 🥳🥳
@@Cognitoedu Nonononono, I should be the one thanking you for helping me and my friends out!
Jesus, someone fire your educators
@@ProfessionalGasLighting 😭😭😭😭
Thanks to you I got 78/80 in chem
Videos of this quality attract students so much and they make the learning enjoyable
I worked at a nitrogen harvesting facility in East TN. I left due to some of the management that was in place at the time, but I miss this process so much. It is absolutely amazing. To start with atmospheric air and methane and make Anhydrous ammonia, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. It is intoxicating, and most never leave this field because of it. Great generalization of the process. It is much much more extensive and detailed in practice. Beautiful process. Haber forming anhydrous ammonia drops out of thin air really did change the world. What we owe to the past generations can't be put into words or dollars.
Yeah, but fritz also contributed to some gross stuff during the war 😢
Still, cant deny he saved billions of lives
You r srsly underrated.
It's great that you explained from diffrent perspectives why the process uses the specific temperature and pressure. This video summarizes everything really good!
i literally have an exam on monday on the haber process , contact process , and reversible reactions , i understood nothing till i watched all your videos about it , THANK U FOR THIS !! your content has such an easy understanding
Honestly one of the best video summary of the Haber process. My textbook is the type that is not as straight to the point as this video, thank you so much for the hard work
Thank you soooo much for these videos. The videos and your platform were beyond helpful while preparing for boarding school exams as an international student. Thanks to you I got into one of the best schools in Britain!!!! A huge thank you from Germany!
This is the underrated video. A great video with amazing animations. Though I am from ICSE, it really did help me out.
Thank you for the video. Loved it💖👍
Speed at 1.25x for best viewing.
Thanks so much it was brief and straight to the point yet so full of important information and concepts
Just binge watched the entire playlist in about 6 hours, Thank you so much, these were really helpful, i was struggling with chemistry before. now i wont fail in my upcoming exams, thank you again 🙏
6 hours? damn
How was the exams?
Wow, really helpful. How do you record these videos? How do you make the animations?
Thanks.
SERIOUSLY , YOU'RE A LIFESAVER ,CAN'T THANK ENOUGH !!!
The best educational site on CZcams.
Great job, well explanatory videos😀
Thanks Rulez, we really appreciate it 😊
wow wow just wow literally so much detail in a small amount of time and I understood everything I was unsure about. thank you so so so much.
the iron used would be spongy iron rather than iron the normal one as a catalyst please note it : 2:15
Thank you so much for the effort you put into making these fantastic videos. Currently revising for my exams, and your videos have been of immense help. They're concise and easy to understand, yet highly informative and engaging at the same time which is a difficult combination to achieve. Not to mention the wonderful graphics! Overall really impressive! Thank you again, keep up the good work!
Thanks aarnzoo we really appreciate comments like these, glad you're finding them so enjoyable 🤩
May you find happiness in life bcuz I'm learning from your channel.
Yo Cognito ar we ever going to get a face reveal? Maybe for 30K subs?
now w8 for 1 mil ig😭😭
@UMeRR21 nah we go for 10 million
Thank you Cognito, you have been a great help with Chemistry. I DONT KNOW how I would've made it if not for you there are no very good chemistry teacher's for IGCSE in the area, so I had to settle with the best of the low. But your videos came extremely handy. Thank You
Freesciencelessons 😟. | Cognito 🤓
popular and makes topics slightly babyish. | the real guyz and makes hard topics feel like easy,
| first page of a book topic
No attention to proper details. | Gets every juicy detail plus a little extra for the toping
Couldn't say it better myself! Very true.
Agreed, but those extra details won't necessarily get you extra marks and makes some topics harder to memorize.
When you dive down the heavy metal rabbit hole, then down the history rabbit hole and somehow end up diving down the chemistry rabbit hole......thanks Sabaton....thanks a lot.
YOU DESERVE 1 MILLION SUBS!!!!
Really appreciate your work hope this will help my upcoming class test
Would you be doing A level science videos because they really do help a lot.
I actually watched the whole playlist🤯
Contact process is aslo included in the syllabus, could u make a video of that too
these videos are really helpful! Could you possibly separate them in playlists for the appropriate exam papers?e.g Paper 1 chemistry playlist
bro i swear if this vid gives a score in chem tomorrow i will watch this a billion times thanx alot this was so usefull😍
Animation is veryyyy good and clear. This video is very good and clear!
hello HAHAHAHA
CactusFragz hiii
thanks again whatever i want to know this guy teachs and also better than teacher
Hi Amadeus/Tom
I don't know if you remember me,
I got A* in all 8 subjects, and all 3 science's videos you made were the most helpful thing I had watched at that point.
I really want your style of videos for A levels as well, please make A level videos...
Would help a lot of people.
That’s amazing - congratulations! Thanks for letting us know you found the channel so helpful!
very underrated
Wow this is really helpful thank you
I love these videos, just not read the book and look at this and get everything!
Thank you so much for this video sir I can't understand the harber's process in school and then I saw many videos about it but I didn't got it but after seeing your video the concept is like crystal clear to me and my brain
Man you literally save my life from written shit in my exam
Can you pls make a video about the manufacture of sulfuric acid through contact process.
Hello, is this playlist all the content for GCSE chemistry?
...This has to be a joke, right?
@@hamzie1010 How much of the GCSE content is in this playlist?
Very well explained :)
Your are amazing teacher
😊
Thanks a lot for the video, I definitely learned so much
Your videos are so helpful , can you do a video on NPK fertilisers please
Great video
Thank you so much for your videos❤ they really do help.
Beautiful work!
To this day, these videos are incredible. Without Cognito I would be failing :DDD
Do you have a video on NPK fertilisers as part of the using resources topic as it is on the GCSE syllabus however I cannot find a video of it on your channel.
This video actually helped me understand! Thanks so much
Yo dude make a discord server! it will help with the publicity and also helps us gets answers for any misunderstandings! (I believe it will help you get the recognition you truly deserve)
Thanks Plebity, we'll keep it in mind 👍
danke
i like this video i watched it in the day of spiler between bayern and paris in the quarter final
I love this channel and you explain everything so clearly and you deserve more subs but me being selfish I don’t really want it to increase too much as I want to keep this channel all to myself🤣😁
this helped me so much, thank you so much
2:40 Ammonia has a relatively high boiling point compared to Nitrogengas and hydrogengas. If what you say is true that the N2 and H2 would condense before the NH3.
He admitted his mistake, see his comment.
wait which topic is this in??
chemical reactions
simply amazing. You make life so easy with your videos. Thank you
You’re welcome - happy they’re helping!
im gonna binge watch like 16 of your videos bc they're the only thing that make any sense to me💀
Glad you like them Adi 😊
Thank you!!
Tq
Thanks you are a life saver
I have never seen this in IGCSE Chemistry specification so please change the description... Thank you.
Good luck to everyone doing the paper 2 exam in 9.5 hours!
I love your videos! Please do one about contact process 😆😆
hi what do you use to make your notes that you share in your videos
notes provided nicely!
Hey Admin, hope you're doing well, can you suggest any YT channel for o levels and IGCSE computer science... Plz do reply
Ty for explaining ♥️
ammonia has a higher boiling point that the nitrogen and hydrogen, thats why it condenses before them
Very helpful cheers
Thank you very much understood
Hello cognito, I Taskeen.
I was not able to understand the Haber process I got your video and after watching this I'm fully satisfied.
The way you were making the flow chats was amazing.
I appreciate the way you teach.
Thanks 🤝🏻
3:06 shouldn't it be lower boiling point?
Hi, is it possible if u could make one video for the Contact Process?
could you make a contact process video? it would be very helpful
ammonia has a higher bp than hydrogen or nitrogen im confused
hey can u do a vid on NPK fertilisers?
I have a suggestion. It can be quite misleading to show single N atoms ant H atoms entering the reactor. Perhaps the nitrogen and hydrogen reactants can be shown as molecules instead. Thanks!
could you please make a video for the contact process sir?
What about the other use of this process I’m specifically talking about this time period, 1914-1918
Thanks
hii, what font did you use in this video??
awesome video
@cognito What kind of font you used for the vid?
The font is Tom's own handwriting, he's very talented 🙌
I just want to say thank you for these videos, they have helped me go from a grade 6 in chemistry to a grade 9 in under 6 months, you are so good at explaining everything and the drawings are so useful as i often need to visualize things to understand them
in IGCSE 0620 chemistry, is contact and haber process included?
I believe so, my teacher told us if they included this topic in 2023 papers then most likely to be in it.
@@MATHEMATICIAN-vz3tk ok ty
can i use this chemistry playlist for revising CIE chemistry? is it the same as edexcel?
Yeah most of the videos are perfect for CIE, but there are a few minor differences, so you might want to check your textbook as well :)
@@Cognitoedu ah okay!!
How much of the GCSE content is in this playlist?
Pretty much everything for AQA (except some of the practicals), and 90% or so of the stuff for the other exams boards :)
Shouldn't Ammonia be liquid but N2 and H2 Gas because N2 and H2 have lower boiling points since a lower boiling point means it turns gaseous at a lower temperature and Ammonia has a higher boiling point because it turn's gaseous at a higher temperature ?
Take X and Y for concept,
If X is liquid and Y is Gas at a a specific temperature. Let's say the temperature is 100 degree Celsius.
X is still a liquid because it's gonna be gas at a higher temperature and hence the relatively high boiling point and Y is already a Gas because the specific temperature ( 100 degree Celsius ) is more than the boiling point of Y hence the relatively low boiling point.
I'm just posting this because in the video it says otherwise.
How bro u are a legend
school gave a weird diagram which was beyond my understanding until I came upon this video.
what exam board is this? edexecel?
wow. you’re a gem. here’s my subbbbb. 😗
Thanks for subbing! 🤩
l wasn't able to understand anything when l was first thought, but Cognito is always here so...why do l take the stress of anything?
how comes no bioleaching and phytomining
hi :) does anyone know whether combined science students need to know this because i don't recognise it but don't want to not revise something necessary ._.
ah haha ignore this i just checked the caption in the video
