I am a roaster in Japan. The coffee beans are costly simply because they do not have that many plants. Its not that good. I was given 2 KG of green beans for a special gift and I would say it is maybe B-Grade.

Completely unrelated, but you might find this interesting: Hershey’s chocolate doesn’t taste like shit because of butyric acid. That’s just clickbait headlines. Butyric acid occurs naturally in fermented milk, which is why it’s not on the ingredients list. Parmesan cheese, for example, is full of it, and a bunch of stuff.
Hershey’s tastes like shit because it’s made with a freaking chocolate substitute called “compound chocolate”, which is has only slightly more cacao than white chocolate. It’s almost the same thing as the coating on an m&m, but pretending to actually be chocolate 🤢
