After a difficult birth or if you have IBS, lots of things can cause abdominal/ bowel surgery. A rectal prolapse means bowel resection and up to 3 months with a colostomy bag. Whatever the case might be I wish her a speedy recovery. No woman or man should suffer with these problems and imagine how embarrassing it must be to read about it in every publication!!

Following a hysterctomy I spent 10 days in hospital and then advised to rest and recover for 12 weeks after that. If this is what has happened to Kate then she should definitely take as much time she needs I thought I was ok and returned to work after 10 weeks - a big mistake. I also had horrific morning sickness with my second baby and that in itself is debilitating. I feel so sorry for Kate and only hope that she follows the advice of the medical team and doesnt feel she needs to get back to duties just to appease the public.

These conspiracy theories about Kate Middleton are crazy to me. Do you know what abdominal surgery has a two month recovery time? Abdominal surgeries for colon resection when you have colon or rectal cancer. She may have cancer. She may need chemo. She may have an ileostomy and be trying to learn to navigate and want to get comfortable before being in the public eye again. If this is the case I wish they were less secretive because it could save lives. But it's none of our business if she doesn't want to share. Not saying this is definitely what it is - It could be anything. But people seem to think nothing takes that long of a recovery and they are just wrong. And no one owes you information about their health or life that they don't want to share.
It should have been kept private from the people in the beginning...you can't expect people to wonder what is wrong...
