Silicon-based life? Not likely! (geobiology)

Most scientists think that life anywhere in the universe will be based on carbon. Some people wonder if silicon-based life might be possible. I don't think that it's likely because silicon-oxygen molecules are not very reactive. I discuss the differences in this video.
