From the next update you can safely use any shaders, this incompleteness is already fixed
Ah, yeah I did some testing later and the animations worked in another world. For some reason they ended up breaking with the Insanity Shaders. I've used that shaderpack for other GeckoLib based mods like the Cave Dweller. Maybe it has to do something with them spawning from the second incubator in the world? I honestly don't know, just speculating!

if you want to try a mod like this i think you will like the From Another World mod This mod has a unique take on the concept of invasion and infection mods:
-The mobs have a consistent presence - they cannot spawn or despawn randomly. They spread through your world like a real organism with a consistent method of reproduction and never "cheat."
-Survival is the focus - everything is balanced and tested for survival mode with no other mods installed.
-USE FIRE. Flint and Steel can set mobs from this mod on fire just by right clicking them

Lmaaaaoo this HAS to be a series. If it does become one, you need to make a lava moat, and maybe a floating base inside such moat, so that the flesh can’t corrupt your base
Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'd be able to make a series out of this but that is a cool idea! I already have a series that's currently ongoing where myself and my friend try out Minecraft's scariest modpack, and that takes up a good chunk of my editing time.
I also initially tried to make a floating island and I called it operation "Laputa" but I didn't keep that in the final cut.

You know, I honestly didn't know much about the mod going into the playthrough on stream. Turns out it's based off of an SCP, SCP-610. It's actually pretty intriguing!
