The fact that they could seriously sing the line "See, you got clowned, boy" and make it BONECHILLING
Its like the Dark Sentencer and The Willing Wells had a baby. So fucking dope! Favorite on the album!
I feel different. I feel like you could slap this right between End Complete IV and V and nobody would know the difference.
I'm getting heavy The Final Cut vibes from it.
It definitely sounds a bit like The End Complete III
Don't forget about gravity's union, pretty sure they had a 3 way
I discover this band like a week ago and now every song I look up by them is nothing but bangers!? Where have I been!!!??
There is no other music. There is only Coheed.
Youre in for a treat. Pretty much every album is good from front to back. Some songs might take some time to get into as a new listener, but that makes them more rewarding!
Welcome brother. One among the fence.
Your life will be changed forever. You must see them live ASAP!
Welcome! Always great to see the new child of the fence💕
The last 3 tracks on this album need to be played uninterrupted live
I'm gonna see them in August I'll report back
@@LimeaLightGame Same!
@@snakeplissken7194 Same here
August 16 at Marymoor Park I will be there to listen live to the eargasm that is the whole album!!
@@Seanchaus yeah I'm going August 10th in SLC I can't wait
They hit every coheed note from across 20 years in one song!!!!
Absolutely
They really did lmao Can be said for the album
Another banger from my favorite band. This came out at midnight , the second i turned 36 and i just realized that i've loved this band for half of my life. I got hooked at 18 when i heard Devil in Jersey City. Since then it's been the best love story of my life
I turn 37 3 weeks from today, and ive been into them for 22 years meself. it was so hard devising to listen to this or wait on the vinyl. i caved. they still got it. im with you on this night!
My birthday on the 23rd (I’m in texas so it was still my bday when it came out.) Happy birthday to us! My favorite band for 20 years now. 🖤🤘🏻
Happy fuckin birthday man! Hope you find the time and cash to see 'em live soon
I bought a random mix cd in like 2004 from best buy and sabutie was on there I was intrigued got a warped tour cd and coheed was on there been hooked since..... it's the same band almost.
Fuck yea man. I love seeing comments like this.
This is pure gospel in the church of Coheed
Praise Claudio!
Amen!!
May Claud be with you.
@@ALLDAY-tt9qw and also with you

Coheed at its god-peak era.
I remember being introduced to coheed in 2006. Getting high with the boys and listening to my ridiculously talented friends have jam sessions. It was like a free concert all the time. Coheed got played alot. 😁✌
They have always been good peak because they evolved. I am an original fan but not because it's coheed must like them.. it's because their music tells a story it evolves with the storyline and the times of out music taste.
They just keep getting better
Exactly what I was thinking
Something about the mix and the drums makes me really love this album
"What are you doing?"
"I'm listening to Coheed and Cambria"
"No I ment with your life."
"IM LISTENING TO COHEED AND CAMBRIA"
Good enough.
This is the correct answer
A life well lived.
I mean is there any other way of life really 🤘
Yes 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The way this goes into ‘Rise, Naianasha…’ on the album is just perfect
This with Rise Naianasha and Window of the Waking Mind is the best part of this album! Just 15+ minutes of awesome music!
This album has like.3 different styles and sounds for each section of the album I think it's cool.
@@anthonyjones3835 I agree. While my favorite bit is the end tracks, I'm totally into the poppy side of this album, which, you know, I wouldn't have really expected. But when the keyboards kick in at the start of A Disappearing Act and you've suddenly got Coheed synthpop? Holy cow, I'm on board.
[Verse 1]
Oh, we've only got one chance at this
The severity unmerciful as the tension sits
As the world comes into view, our biggest fears, they seem to all come true
[Pre-Chorus]
So how we gonna handle this?
When the punch lands, boy, it's all about how you fall
Go on, swallow your defeat
[Chorus]
Stay down, boy, see, ya got clowned, boy
You got heart, but sorry, just ain't meant to be
Another one down the Ladders of Supremacy
[Verse 2]
The time has come for us, accept all you've become
All your chances burn to ash, the еnd's begun
Here wе watch as time moves on
Away from all the things we could have done
[Pre-Chorus]
So how we gonna handle this?
When the punch lands, boy, it's all about how you fall
Go on, swallow your defeat
[Chorus]
Stay down, boy, see, ya got clowned, boy
You got heart, but sorry, just ain't meant to be
Another one down the Ladders of Supremacy
[Bridge]
Evil does as evil do
All you want, they took from you
So that's how it goes 'cause who you are, take a look
You knew you never had a chance
You never had a chance to be loved
[Verse 3]
No matter how hard you want to play
You'll always have one foot in the grave
You just wanna live, but you were born to lose, to lose
Now get up from the gravel
And dust off your shoulders
Because now it's your chance to prove
[Outro]
Climbing up the ladders of their supremacy
Was it everything you had dreamed?
Oh, did you make your mark
Or did you let them stand between?
Between you and everything
This is quite literally The Dark Sentencer and The Willing Wells child. This is an absolute banger!
This is the song that reminds you of what Coheed And Cambria still is
Yeah at the top of the rock game still after 20 years
they get better and better. this is absolutely epic
yeah the rest of the album sucks
@@JutGip 👎
@@JutGip🍅 🍅 🍅
I wish every track was THIS.
Yup I'd like it way more
Perfect fusion of The Willing Wells, The End Complete and Dark Sentencer
This song is by far my favorite on the new album. Josh is just flexing those drums here, but for me it’s Zach absolutely oozing bass all over this track. The first half of the second verse is so thoroughly satisfying as far as bass goes. Seriously such an amazing song, every Coheed album has that one song that they just dial in to a decidedly more gritty and aggressive style, but also every album they evolve that sound.
Ladders of Supremacy is the one song from every album I feel like they wrote because I needed it.
Yeah this album might feature josh's best drumming overall. He's on another level. So glad he came back
Every Coheed album has that one song were everyone gets to strech and really play this is that song
This gives me goosebumps. This reminds me of their older stuff.
Beginning literally has callback trills of Domino and Dark Sentencer it's fantastic!
@@humanwreckage4563 that is definitely not their old stuff lmao but I can see it a little.
Don’t let this life defeat you. No matter where you find yourself.
So good to come back to this, the one and only video of Ladders of Supremacy, from time to time. It'd be really cool if they made an animated video or something for it, but I suppose it's for the best that they didn't.
Yeah, it would really suck if they, say, hired someone to make a video and he just fed the album art into a gen AI model, and then slowly rotated a camera around a room he spent a day making in Blender.
The opening 2 minutes of this is the best thing I've heard in YEARS.
5:33-6:48
Is top 3 of my favorite all time coheed moments. It never fails to give me chills. The instruments, the lyrics, the vocals, they all meld so perfectly
The absolute climax
Whenever I think of Warhammer 40K, Coheed and Cambria is the music that perfectly summarizes it
Gotta love that “Queen of the Dark” vibe going on in the beginning.
Such an underrated song. Coheed is at their best when the music has that dark eerie sound to it. Tough to accurately describe but songs like “Deranged”, “Domino The Destitute”, “Queen of the Dark”, “The Final Cut”, “On The Brink” all have elements of this song. It’s when they are at their best
@@IIESPD00DII totally agree. There’s a level of dread in the music, with a semblance of non achieving hope. Like 21:13, the Black Rainbow, Pretelethal, In the Flame of Error. I totally get what you mean.
@@FlapNasty3 Exactly. Claudio simply just be getting into it 🤣 Going hard lol
@@IIESPD00DII lol. Gods I love this fan base.
DOWN BOY! SEE YOU GOT CLOWNED BOY! #INTENSITY 🤘🏼🔥
Don't forget the Staaaaaaaaay before the down
Fucken. MASTERPIECE.
Stay down boy, see ya got clowned boy.
You've got heart but sorry just ain't meant to be.
Another one down the Ladders of Supremacy.
Brutal.
If this isn't proving that rock is still alive and well
Everybody, hold onto to something! 🎉🎉🎉
digging the 'on the brink' vibes here
Ahhhh I hear it
YES!!!!!!
When I got to this point in the album I was like "okay, now THIS is what I'm talking about."
The way this song just builds and builds to Claudio screaming "climbing up the ladders of their supremacy" makes my hair stand up. Amazing stuff.
Another one to add to the Epic Coheed Anthem Playlist, might be my favorite along with the Dark Sentencer, the end of this song is just 30 seconds of straight chills. Josh stays in the pocket this drum line is magnifico
Boys I don t know if you read the comments but you unleashed a monster album upon the world , and now sit at the table with the greats in music history. Go forth and crush it on this tour to support this masterpiece !
I was worried the whole album would be all electronica-like but this is one of their best songs they’ve made in a hot minute. Still giving the new record spins! 🤟🏼🤙🏼
ive been a fan for 20 years and this albums is sooooooo good. it is so unlike yall but at the same time very much like yall. i will forever be a fan. i get tears just listening to yall. your music has been there for me through every struggle. never stop.
Showcasing musicians at the top of their game, agree with lots of the comments this is a love letter to a lot of past coheed songs.
This is fucking insanely beautiful. They get better and better
This and Window of the Waking Mind are just insanely good.
Damn this is the first song that made me stop and say "DAMN!" to an album I was already floored with.
This song!! I can’t even get through the end of this song without getting teary!!
Damn, this is THE song, what a masterpiece, the whole album is great and this is the cherry on top of the cake!
Who tf puts a cherry on cake
@@ballssquadproductions1003 it’s literally a classic
@@ballssquadproductions1003 it’s a known saying, it means that something makes an already good thing even better
@@ballssquadproductions1003 call your mother
@@javoferoz4819 The saying is "cherry on top of the sundae", lol. You're both probably confusing it with "icing on the cake" which means the same thing.
I really hope they keep this artwork thing going forward for the other Vaxis Albums, it's really cool.
Everything about this song just blew my mind the first time I heard it. I’m calling it early: favorite song on the album.
this is the one. last three tracks on the album were my favorite, also the intro song is awesome
Music doesn’t get better than this
The first time i heared the Favor House Atlantic, I got curious, that range of voice, that different rhythm amongs those era, I immediately search in the internet, downloaded all their songs upto now, whenever i have time listening to their songs i feel like I've never aged at all.
God this album transcends space and time
Can’t wait to hear this one live in a month!!!
If they play it. Which I hope they do too
Nope not this tour
@@anthonyjones3835 yea I was a little disappointed at the set list but still a great concert all in all
IT'S DOMINO! IT IS DOMINO! OH MY GOD! GUYS! THIS IS A REFERENCE TO DOMINO!
Holy hell! This song is gonna close tour dates for years to come!
Man I love singing this song to myself!
This album 🙌
Coheed just doesn't make bad music
Best song on another amazing album. You guys help me live, no joke. Please never stop
the sound of all the cds blended in perfectly in bits and pieces and this has to be one of the biggest masterpieces ever, I got brought back to all the other cds in my head so easily like damn
Been a Fan of Both Dream Theater and Coheed and Cambria for a long time. Different Bands, but i got a wierd "The Astonishing" Vibe at the beginning of this song. Then straight back to the old classics
Same here on everything.
As a fan of Dream Theater, I agree. I find a lot of similarities in the vocal less melodies. I find Dream Theater's musical talent to be better, but Coheed's musical to be more attractive... if that makes sense? But that's not to discount either of them.
You guys never disappoint.
This song really solidifies it for me, my favorite Coheed album since Good Apollo. From the first to final track, nothing but net.
I continue to be absolutely blown away by how awesome these guys are.
Crushed it. Love those vocals harmonies.
This band is everything else.
Yo this song it has become on of my favorite instantly this and domino are something else and Claudio’s voice feel so powerful like never before
Love the callback to Welcomd Home in the beginning!
Great song!!!!! The guitar and drums really hit different.
This is my favorite song off this album.
This ones my favorite.
This is just so beautiful. This entire album is pure art
I love everything about this album. The coheed classic change up but still managing to stay true.
Hands down my favorite track on the album. Love it. F**king love it!
Iv always loved these concept songs they do.....so much goin on i have to listen to it about 3 times to get it all.
Claudio's voice is just the most magical sounding thing ✨
Great song plus I love the Dyson sphere in the pic.
Best one on the record so far
Such a bad ass song. Favorite song on the record for me
This and Disappearing Act are top tier
Sick
The ending was so breathtakingly good. 11/10
This was majestic live
I said I wouldn't watch more than a minute... I'm still on the channel. Giving me good Apollo vibes.
Currently my favorite song
this song is pure dopamine 😍
love claudio's voice!
Nice another one 🙂.
Lots of love from Nepal 🇳🇵
Eargasm! No other words to describe it.
Honestly I don't know if I love this or fuel for the feeding end more for clear prog groove. This slaps.
I got half-way through this and was like, "is this my favorite song from them? Yes."
Awwwww shiiieee this is the sound I’ve been waiting for
Wow. Just wow 🤯
whoa! Banger for sure
Yes
I first heard Blood Red Summer in 8th grade, but havent listend to Coheed since 2011 or so. I am very excited to catch up on over 10 years of their music.
Oh boy are you in for one hell of a journey!
This song has me fully torqued
Another excellent track
Claudio's voice though... One of the greatest!
Legend
@@IIESPD00DII 💯 up there with the top ever for me!
OH HELL YEAH
Hella good! let's go see em
Hope they play this on the album tour
Never thought I'd discover my favorite Coheed Song in 2022. Finally 2113 and Welcome Home have been out done
This album is just so good. I've had chills listening throughout.
I almost wanted to freak out listening to this one, you can hear all the pieces he incorporates from Vaxis I. And that first two minute instrumental absolutely destroyed me, and the rest buried me in my grave. There is so much here I can’t organize my thoughts enough over: OVERWHELMED
Goes 🔥
