There's more CZcamsrs out there like that but they're small and you have to find them. I watch someone who lives in longbeach and uploads sometimes twice a day cause he just loves the CZcams thing and its therapeutic to him or whatever he says, so he just enjoys it, but he also wants to get big someday to help his kids and family. But he just loves cars, and doing the whole CZcams thing.

I would keep it original and use it as a ranch truck. It will be a lot of fun just piddling around home. Also gas engines don't like idling, so once it's warm don't hesitate to just shut it off whenever you leave the cab.

360 camera with the ear pods wasn't too bad, on the road it was a little far it seemed like for the connection but I like it. I watch letsdig18 a lot and he does the outside shots but no talking with it, was nice to have both.

If your continuing to back up in the same spot use a couple fence posts creating an L that way you have a guide point for where to be. Thats a trick we use when uloading our grain truck. Makes it so much easier.

!!!!! I seen a really cool trick for clearing out culvert pipes recently. They ran a chain through the pipe and connected it to an old car tire without the rim and towed it through, the tire scrunched up and pulled everything out of the pipe along with it.

I had the same motor as your f600 in a 62 f100 and it was a fun and reliable little motor.
Excavator tip that works for my e35. Before you disconnect your hydraulic hoses open your thumb then close the thumb just alittle bit, then disconnect the hoses

Keep the paint and clear it all , the pateina looks great and the red white and blue theme is perfect. As for the motor a big Block ford with efi would be way cooler since it's a ford. Everyone swaps a Cummins, the sound of a cammed big Block can't be beat.

You’ll love that truck so much more with the exhaust fixed and have your detail buddies come out and polish it up. It will shine back up nicely. Drums brakes are just fine especially if your just around the farm. Semi trucks still run them.

Old trucks and equipment were built to last forever! Then they realized there not much money in forever built parts ! Having said that please don't change the drive train ! Hubs and brakes! Maybe? F650 stake bed ❤ mine was a F250 long bed and even the same color blue ! I love it and love watching you learn to drive it ! Lol I'm 59 and that was my first vehicle at 15 years old!
You give that truck a tune up and exhaust and that’s all you need for the farm. Them old trucks are tuff

I got a excavator tip for you, when using it get a old tree log 10-15ft wide and hold in your thumb and use it move/level more dirt at one time instead of using the small bucket all the time, might save you some time with these dirt projects.

Ryno have you ever considered getting a back hoe, they work great on our farms you can move plenty of dirt with them. The main thing is that it's not as quick or easy to use the hoe cause you have to put your landing gear down every time compared to an excavator.

You should keep the bed raised up with a 2’ 6x6 under each side in the front so the water doesn’t ruin the wood and so it will last longer

Goals!
I think a little bit of updating the drivetrain and some miscellaneous quality of life stuff to f600 would be a good middle option while keeping it with the farm truck apparence
The 360 camera is cool put it on the disappearing stick they make and on the excavator when using it awesome view a lot of car CZcamsrs use it this way
I would definitely change out the oil in all the components, probably not been done for years.
Quick buff on that paint and it will look killer
The truck weighs around 10k. Subtract that from the GVW # on the VIN tag to get the useful capacity. Then you have to make sure the hydraulic system is up to it too, but you have springs, axles, and brakes from the GVW at maybe 50mph.

FYI the throttle handle on the dash is to have more working power for the PTO (dump bed)!!!!

Having the thumb you can pinch the tree and spread stuff out.
Old F-600 getting it done!
My grandfather had more than whole grain trucks on the farm in Buckeye Arizona I lived out there we used to go and dumped grain order to whatever I back at things the same way revving it up moving as long as we're going same thing give me nothing a whole lot of weight got a ton of have rear end in it turnip truck vehicle weighs 14 / 17000 ft 4 to 8000 lb on the bed its self
Next thing you get should buy is a good sized skid steer
Ryan you need a onewheel for moving equipment by yourself I use mine all the time while I am doing so!!
Test truck next to mini. Remember more weight behind axle helps the dumping

While it is a super cool truck. Im good on old dumptrucks for a little bit. If it was an old Pete might be a different story
So the idle up is if for your pto so so you don’t have to push the push the gas pedal down all the time. Don’t rev it up all the way maybe 1500 to 2000 rpm. I use to drive tow truck and one of the companies I worked for hand a truck like that. The rev up will make the dump process a lot faster tho.
Hopefully the new pice of equipment is a new Holland or Massey Ferguson tractor. I’d be a lot of help around the ranch and you can hook plenty attachments to them something to mow fields and if you got a front loader on it, you wouldn’t have to load with your excavator every time.

That exhaust leak would drive me nuts
run down to a near by semi store and get 2 new mirrors for that thing should just take the normal mirrors for like a Peterbilt that will help you out a ton.

Just watched your video and hearing what you want to maybe do with your f600 what about turning it into a hock lift or roll on/off then you could have a flatbed and dump body and maybe mod the bed you have to fit aswell if that's the way you want to go? Food for thought ps I live in UK so not sure what you maybe able to do
