Jose Carlos (JC), N4IS, will look at basic concepts of RX antennas and share his experiences with lowband RX antennas on a small lot, including the Waller Flag.
I am also real-estate-challenged. And am also a *brand new* amateur. I went with a 30' flagpole antenna from ZeroFive that covers 80-6 meters. Any type of tower would have taken up the whole back yard and looked awful. My front yard is also small and heavily sloped, so a 60'x30' area behind my house is all I had to work with. I also put a Diamond V2000A on the roof to get 2m/70cm coverage. I used LMR-600 on both antennas and the flagpole is connected to a Yaesu FTDX5000MP and the Diamond is hooked up to a Yaesu FT-991. Thanks for the information!
Incredibly well documented presentation !
Thanks !
