But since there is no way for us to be impartial and really honest, we need some help - so we recruited a robot…sorta. With the aid of Botnik Labs, they created some magical computer program that analyzed every single Honest Trailer script and generated this masterpiece poking fun at all of our tropes, styles, and themes. The robot write up was amazing, but what really puts it all together is the visuals; excellent selection of clips to really drive home the writing. A masterpiece of internet strangeness.

Botnik Studios is just a predictive keyboard though, it doesn't generate entire sentences for you. Most likely, the Honest Trailer team took all the text from their videos and fed it into the software, then they wrote this trailer script one word at a time by clicking on suggestions generated by the predictive keyboard. They might even have written the beginning of the sentences themselves to make sure the text would be structured like their usual trailers. In other words, this trailer script isn't entirely AI-generated, there's a lot of human contribution and editing behind it. Same goes for Harry Potter and the Portrait of What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash. So it's more "written with help from AI" than "written by AI".

So a female superhero, played by Lana Del Toro, is struggling to rescue a dystopian society, where every TV channel plays Shrek, people are forced to quote House in every-day conversation, professors have altered history and mythology (such as Mulan) to fit their perverted ideas of womanhood, and the world has been ravaged by snake cars. However, her biggest threat is Jonathon, played by the cringeworthy Elvis Kyle, who questions why a woman is trying to save the world and "who made that call?" In order to defeat the forces of tyranny, she'll need the help of her weird cousin Margot Montage, a European artificial-intelligence designed who has developed an obsession with Game Of Thrones and weed in order to cope with her trauma from years of subjugation. She'll have to find the Mineral in order to liberate her people, before Jonathon, his dog and his terrible son The Millenium Dustin, played by Academy Award-winning actor Solemn Phillip, enact their ultimate plan to sell mind-controlling iPods to the masses.

Actually, that AI's thought process may be extremely similar to a Sapiens on drugs.
Philip Anderson Except its not. AI is nowhere near being self-aware and it never will be. AI simply "learn" within the parameters they are told to learn within. They can do no more and no less (unless you seriously messed up the logic making it). AI does not truly think at all because it has no context for what it is doing. They are no more intelligent than a toaster. They just performing set tasks very quickly and in some cases better than humans. However those cases are mostly things that can be boiled down to an exact science.

Philip Anderson Indeed. We don't even fully understand where human conciousness comes from or why it occurs in the first place. I would define self-aware as being able to truly understand subjects, contexts and being able to make completely indepedent decisions. Also emotion is another point to add in as well. To put it simply Turing machines are "thinking" machines not "understanding" machines. They have no context or meaning for the tasks they are completing they simply perform within their given parameters. Nothing an AI does is outside of the parameters it was told "learn" within. Even at that its just creating the illusion of learning. The AI does not actually comprehend any of the tasks its completeing. The notion of AI gaining conciousness is absurd. It is a simulation of thought and not actual thought. Suggesting conciousness could form in AI randomly is like saying that a simulation of photosyntheisis could suddenly become actual photosyntheisis. I'm honestly tired of scientists in totally different fields acting like they are qualified to speak about computer science spreading dyspotian fears of machines taking over. It will NEVER happen, AI will not suddenly decide it wants to conquer humanity trust me

A deep learning AI's attempt at writing an Honest Trailers script, given (I assume) all of their previous scripts as input
Some the Botnik algorithm takes a given text (in this case all the previous scripts) and throws up a selection of words. You then choose the ones that you want and it generates the next from those.
So it’s sort of a guided AI instead of true AI. In fact it’s more of a text recommendation system. If there’s a fully automatic mode I haven’t found it yet.

There is a movie written by AI acted by humans, I forget the name but it is more insane than this even lol
I've seen both.
The first I liked, except the actors didn't seem to understand their characters. That is not the fault of the script, though. It should be redone.
The second one was pure genius. I found new respect for David Hasselhoff as an actor. The monologue at the end was hauntingly believable. I could not get enough.
Although the ballet scene was disappointing because it had too many cuts. It should have been one take in a wide angle shot.
And the coffee was just weird, but what can you do?
