Ikr? Will be 65 next month and these guys have been my favorite band hands down. It was like a punch to the gut when they called it quits, they had that special ingredient, that most great bands “cream of the crop” have. And Malford Milligan showed me how an awesome human being he is sitting in my Honda listening to a track I made of one of their songs😁. Talking about Star struck, it was like that snl skit with Chris Farley interviewing Paul Mcarthy…he’s such a down to earth guy and very gracious❤️. Soul to the bone. Grissom’s writing and playing and Malford’s soulful and crafty vocals are next to none. Yeah it hurt, still does!🤣 same way with Arc Angels & Cry of love, it’s like we’re being teased with sometimes, lmao😁.
That Double Trouble rhythm is second to none! Storyville rawked!!!
Still have that guitar riff in my head all these years later
Me, too. It crosses my mind frequently, and I’ve often heard it when I’ve thought about our country today.
Lest we forget, bridges are burning.
Me too! I was about 7 years old when this album came out. My mom was blasting it 24/7. Born in Austin.
This song is so freakin addictive, and that’s fine with me!!!😁🎸😎
Still love to listen to Storyville, your passionate, inspired music will always be fresh. Best of luck to all you!

Storyville Rocks!!!
While underrated this really is one of the pinnacle uses of a leslie cabinet with guitar
Lest we forget bridges are burning
Lest we forget the tides they are turning
Please forgive us send some help from above
We got all we need but it's never enough
and I'm sorry to say that
I'm amazed at what passes for love
Brother to Brother please take your hand
Father and Mother try to help us understand
We learn kind of slow but these lessons are tough
This house will survive if we hammer hard enough
and I'm sorry to say that
I'm amazed at what passes for love
Too many riches, too many fools
Too many heros with too many rules
We fuel the fire for the wars we will wage
Fire of anger without light
Find the shadwos of black of night
With seeds of hate and tears of rage
Oh no, no no no
Too many riches, too many fools
Too many heros with too many rules
Are fuel the fire of the wars we will wage
Fire of anger dead of light
Find the shadwos of black of night
With seed of anger and tears of rage
Lest we forget bridges are burning
Lest we forget the tides they are turning
Brother to Brother please take my hand
Father and Mother try to help us understand
'Cause I'm sorry to say that
I'm amazed at what passes for love
What passes for love 4x
No no no
