  • In this video we're repairing and deep cleaning Jura S8 2nd Generation. Customer sent he's S8 in because of error message ''Fill beans container'' although the beans container was full. We diagnosed that the grinders overload sensor/fuse had blown. Ordered new one from Jura and carried on with full deep clean on this machine. Not all of the work is in the recorded video because I forgot to record some of the work. The recorded video is played 5x speed.

    Great video. Experiencing same issue. Replaced burrs and motor but no luck. Is the blown sensor the small white rectangular sensor that sits on the side of the grinder or is it internal behind the heating block similar to your video when you remove the cover and access the heating block?

      Thanks, yes it is the small white rectangular sensor that is attached to the grinder. Relatively cheap fix about £15 delivered from Jura (that is here in UK).

      Thanks again for your help and the sensor did end up being the issue. @@margomorozov14

      @@Rsulli-dn7xu Awesome, that’s great to hear that I was a hep. The sensor/fuse is always the first thing to go as that’s its purpose.

    Is there anyway to slow down your video?

      Sorry no. The content is speed up to make it shorter otherwise it would be hours. If you have questions I’m happy to help.

    It's running very fast...
    My issue with the S7 is that it keeps reporting fill beans when there are beans inside - is it a vibrator plate (if it has one?) issue?

      Hi Dorab, if your grinder is not grinding then most likely is the grinder overload/temperature sensor that is blown. It is fairly cheap to replace costs about £15 here in UK.

    What were the steps to that diagnosis? Experiencing a similar issue on my J5.

    • @margomorozov14
      @margomorozov14  Před 9 měsíci

      The grinder has to come out and inspected of any physical damage, remove grinder burrs carefully to see if any foreign object(s) has fallen in, clean the burrs and the grinding chamber from old residual coffee, check grinder motor brushes and check the continuity of the grinder overload sensor/fuse with multimeter. So that should give you a good understanding and overhaul of the grinder. The new sensor/fuse can be ordered from Jura and comes around £15 incl postage.

      @@cocateen Sorry about that! I guess our coffee machine service videos are like a double espresso - too much caffeine can give anyone a headache! 😅 We speed them up to save you from hours of watching, but maybe next time I’ll include a ‘decaf’ version. Thanks for the feedback!

    So in the end what was the solution?

    • @margomorozov14
      @margomorozov14  Před 10 měsíci

      In this particular case the solution was to replace the grinder thermal fuse as is noted in the description of the video
