Descending from a legendary musical family from the sacred city of Varanasi (Benares), Northern India.
The two brothers have been performing together for over 40 years on the world stage - they are exemplars of traditional khyal vocal artistry and embody the deep millenia old cultural backdrop of the holy city.
A wonderful performance by the brothers to mark the end of the famous Lord Hanuman Temple festival in Varanasi for an 8am concert.
