Pandit Ji is Kathak and Kathak is Pandit Ji - the two have become synonymous over the many decades of Pandit jis magnificent career.
Now in his 80's it is remarkable that he continues to perform on stage with the same grace and virtuosity of his former years. He is an Icon and one of the great treasures of India.
Performing here at the legendary Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh of Varanasi (Benares), Northern India. A festival that attracts the most stunning classical artists from India and around the world running over 6 nights (all night) and is free for all. Quite stunning.
