  • A friend of mine asked me to build a display shelf for her son's game balls an rings. She sent me a design and this is what I ended up making

Nice new intro for the video. Case looks really nice!

I be love the idea of using the square to place the nails in the back of the shelves! Brilliant!

Thanks! My biggest fear was sending a nail though the back and not into the shelf. That was the best way I could think to prevent that

Thanks for posting! You mentioned laser engraved (wood) stickers - what material did you use for that?

Actually, I ordered them from thewoodenpin.com. Their site says it's cherry

How did you support/hang the case on the wall?

I installed a pair of saw toothed picture hangers on the back so it could be installed with a couple of screws or nails in a wall.

Great video but is the annoying “music” necessary? Maybe 10 notes played over and over at the same time you were talking? I like your work though.

Thank you. As for the music, different creators finish their videos differently. I'm not always a fan of the sped up shop noises (at least not the ways I have tried), and I'm not a fan of silence. I have tried in a few videos to fade the music down when I talk, then bring it back up, but that's not the easiest thing to do in Premiere Elements. I'm not a video editor, and I'm sure they have ways of doing this easily... either that or I have to pay more for software that makes it easy
