    Very informative
I was given a Technics SU Z600 amplifier
And a Technics ST Z400 tuner and I'm trying to get all the cables that I need seeing that they didn't come with power cords or those red and white connections.
I love the setup you have as well.

A little tip about something you may or may not already know. The Speakers A - B selection switches are for two separate pairs and not the left/right of one pair.

The way you wired the speakers you'll never get stereo sound and will only hear half of the music. You need to wire them to the left and right inputs of either a or b

Sorry for the dumb question am pretty new at this but I got a mcs 2266 system and I also happen to have some Bose roomate 2 speakers. The Bose speakers have their own power cable and the speaker wire connection is meant to connect the right bose speaker as the left one has all the other inputs. Theirs an rca audio input on the left one. I hooked up the appropriate rca cables but realized my mcs only takes speaker wire for speakers? Would I just simply have to find rca cables with a speaker cable end to it or are they just simply not gonna be compatible?

I have rca plug ins but they don’t fit in my turntable ports. Are there different sizes of these things? Thank you!

Unless your turntable is fitted with a p-mount system, and the one in the video wasn't, , the turntable needs some setting up too. Especially with regard to the tone arm. That is to say that you have to check if the grams of downforce the supplied or after market cartridge performs best is still set as well as checking if the anti-skating force is set to its preferred grams. In addition, you should check wther the needle is still ok, or that you have to buy a new one. Please read up on that, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy your records fully and, just as important, you will damage your records beyond repair. PLUS: never ever connect any other device than a record player at the designated connectors at the back of your amp, because if you do, you will blow up your amp.

What was the point of showing the amplifier if you didn't hook it up. You just hooked everything into the receiver

Ugly sounding set up. Good brands but not properly tweaked.
