I think that she was using the wrong words. Maybe she meant that she wasn't "girly" enough, personality wise, to carry off the second dress. Personally, I thought that, aesthetically, the second dress looked beautiful on her and really suited her figure. But I can understand her not feeling that it matched her personality.
it was a critique to the dress, not to herself. it's not her style, doesn't suit her personality. i think she's happy with how unique she is.

I think all women who are getting married need something different and unique for their wedding dress. She was right when she said that when you are choosing a wedding dress, you should be comfortable when you wear it.
Yes, you get a certain feeling when you get into the right dress. In my dress I feel like a princess getting corinated. I love wedding dress shopping.

Completely disagree. I don't bring my family along just so they could blow smoke up my ass and say yes to every dress I wear. Being supportive is one thing but if they think it looks hideous on me they I would hope they said so. They're the people I trust the most and if they don't like it then I'm not buying it. Especially if they're chipping in to buy the wedding dress.

I think that the mom still didn't love it in the end, but she could see how happy the dress made her daughter and she realized that that was all that mattered.
I didn't like the veil and I felt like it brought the uniqueness away from it and was only for the mom but I think either way Frankie would enjoy it.

"Not pretty enough." is what people say to women who like to dress casual all the time. Yes, I do have some "nicer" pieces but I rarely wear them because I feel more comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt. I'm pretty sure her fiance likes her the way she is and that's all it matters, not what 'society' thinks she should look like! And yes, she is beautiful, her soul is also pretty. I hope she is happily married now, she deserves it.

For everyone with eyes to see, the mom only warmed up to this dress, because she saw her daughter loved it so much. The veil didn't add anything, but time to get used to the dress and find it in her heart to let her dreams for her child go and accept the child's wishes instead. Good for you mom. Love you for it.

I don't get why brides who want a dress that's "unusual" and "unique" go the boutiques that specialize in the usual white wedding dresses. It's rare when I see out of the ordinary dresses on this show.
I’ve always loved the bohemian look. As a kid, back when wedding dresses were very modern, heavy and chique to me, I always fantasized about an airy slinky dress with fresh flowers in my wavy long hair, dancing around my garden wedding hehe... I would still love that but I have to admit I’ve seen too much of it everywhere... Good thing I’m not getting married :’)

They say no to all the other dresses, they've tried on so far. Only when the bride says she really wants this one and the entourage agrees and everybody is bubbly happy, they ask 'the question'.

I think I get what she means when she says she’s not “pretty” enough for the second dress. She’s a little more tough and strong looking...a traveler, an outdoor girl...someone who wants movement and light and wind in her hair...not a frou frou girl who wears pink and belongs to a country club...nothing wrong with either type and both are beautiful, but I totally get it.
