Typically that’s not true. People typically date those who are more than less similar to them. The thing is people seem wonderful in the beginning of the relationship, you don’t expect to be abused. Amber love bombed Johnny, and they really connected over their shared love of certain art. Johnny actually thought amber was a very similar person to him, they had a lot in common despite their age difference, he just didn’t know she was gonna be such a bad person.
You would be surprised how easily abusers can hide that side of themselves. She played the part until he was too far in sadly. I'm glad true colors are finally shining through though.
