In this video I show you how I recently cut my hand while filleting a fish, I also show you some awesome fishing footage from the day of and the day after I cut my hand, then I take you on a wild hog hunt where I take the meat and send it the the Bahamians that helped me to the hospital after cutting myself and last but not least I show you how to clean a fish where you’ll never have to worry about cutting yourself like I did.

Gabe you're truly an inspiration to those of us watching your videos for you to think about the people in Louisiana cuz I know they're getting pounded I've actually started filleting my catfish the way you do your fish and I find it kind of easy to do after watching your videos I want to thank you and Kelly for all the pointers that you give y'all stay safe and we'll wait for the next video my friend. If you need a paramedic to go with you to the Bahamas let me know next time and I'll try to make myself available lol.

Saw this a few month ago but rewatching brings out the honest ugly truth in all of us. No matter how much experience or how little experience one has, accidents do happen and I for one have done it to myself on day one of a 5 day hunting trip. Just glad it was months ago and has healed up nicely. Keep living it up, CHEERS!

Fabian is awesome he treated us great when we visited this spring. Our first night his family fed us a homemade meal of lobster at his house and we didn't even know them! Great people. We will be on the road soon to help with Ida, bless yall.
I've been doing wound care for a family member for years and can handle blood and all that jazz, but the motion of the swipe towards your hand and the initial cut made my body Cringe so hard lol. Seeing the open wound wasn't even bad for me, but good Lawd that swipe nearly made me barf. Glad you got the quick help and are on your way to recovery. Prayers up for the family as always. Yep, rotate the fish as you fillet it so you are always cutting away from you. If the fish falls off the table jut let it fall, don't try to grab it (ask me how I know that😅). I'm glad everyone is doing better! It's nice to see you and your brother working together.😁

You can never talk too much about Gun & Knife handling safety for adults as well as our younger sportsmen out there. It’s so easy to get careless when you’re doing something regularly like hunting, shooting & cleaning fish and game. It’s a good thing, you throwing in a video every now & then on the importance of safety first in all things. But especially gun & knife handling safe practices. Good job Gabe👍🏼

Glad your ok buddy…I know exactly how you feel, I was processing some chickens a few weeks ago and did the same thing. Just in a hurry like an idiot and tried to make a little cut toward my off hand and cut my pointer finger pretty good. Felt like a electric shock…a month later still no feeling in it. Prayers for a quick recovery.

Worst cut I ever had was slicing a zip tie. I was working and running late and didn’t think about what I was doing….bounced my Benchmade off the bone in my middle finger. Love what you guys do, keep it up!

And you're right if you clean enough wild game and fish you're gonna get cut, I have many times but never near as bad as what you've done there. 3 stitches from cleaning a tree rat of all things

SO glad ya didn't cut nerves or do other major damage to your hand Gabe. I re-watched the exact instant where ya cut your hand with the video speed set at 0.25 slow motion. Man, you can see everything that you can't see with the video set at normal speed. You can tell it was a deep cut because the blood appeared instantly. At normal video speed, I didn't even see blood when the knife cut your hand. Kelly seemed to take it like a real Trooper as well. Most gals would've freaked out watching their man cut themselves like that.

Good day, I'm from the usvi...as a child my father would give me and my brother.....the "pistol"....I never knew what it was.....until I grew up.....one day I cut open my hand catching conch ....we caught over 60 shelll......I had to wait until my father processed the catch....before going to the hospital.....by the way.........love your channel.....respect brother....blessings.....

I broke my ankle 3 days in to our one month Bahamas trip in July . Took 3 days to get to hospital with X-ray and casting abilities. The doc in March harbour was amazing. 500$ later I was all set.
We headed south to Spanish Wells and had an amazing doc fly in and bring me a walking cast so we could continue cruising.
I’m 6 weeks out now and almost fully recovered.

I reached into a bucket on the fishing boat looking for pliers and it has a damn fillet knife pointing up. I slid my hand right past that knife and got cut in the same spot. Blood everywhere and it hurt like hell! Great video gabe, oh yea Kelly cracks me up .
