I agree!! Also, Billie had a fear of water and this was her way of overcoming it. So she was facing alllll of her fears and emotions. So many symbols in one, it’s amazing.

I see the very end when she fell in the water as a rebirth. She explained all of what damaged her but now she’s so over it and learning from what traumatized her.
I love at the end she falls into the water, accepting her journey and overcoming such an abusive relationship. Most people don't catch it, but the water shows the reality settling in and she is struggling to swim through it, but when she comes into reality she accepts it and overcomes/grows.
This is simply awesome, I related to you 100% when that shit hitted! I hope she keeps this influence in her music
I didn't think it was him calling her when the water comes, and it's very good, I like that point of view. I thought the water were her emotions, you know like that moment when you're realizing that person makes you feel bad, and you're angry with yourself for have let that happened to you, and at the end she's just feeling her emotions.
10/10 lyrics and vocals. I love that you can still see the dancer inside of her. The transition is also epic. This album is on my pool workout playlist. Her voice sounds like a mermaid to me. She’s incredible. She directed this video. She’s crazy talented I’m obsessed.

Interesting you picked up on the Frank Sinatra vibe. They both are Frank Sinatra fans. I personally can't stand him, not because of anything he did, but because I associate him with a rotten job I had when I was young working in a typographical house where it went up to 100 degrees F in the summer from all of the hot lead from the linotype machines. The Italian boss would play an hour long radio show that was only Sinatra songs.
