This transition is the hinge of the song, the album and - who knows - of Ms Eilish's journey as an artist. There was a before - and there will be an after. The change from 4/4 to 6/8 has never been so effective or meaningful. The song is an absolute masterpiece.

I like your reaction and especially that your are really involved with the video. As a German I don't understand muting the swear words which for me are essential to the song - which becomes clear in regard of the differences between her controlled, hold back communication on the phone and the outbursting emotions on the roof top. You have said it, we like lyrics being real and authentic.
