I don't know how I did it but i managed to defeat Vide on the first try going in not knowing what to expect with how this boss battle was gonna go, no plan or strategy whatsoever, all 8 travelers around lvl 67/68-ish (except Ochette; lvl 46-ish, I did her route last), team comp COMPLETELY disorganized to the point of me wanting to rip my hair bald 'cus I screwed up the team order BIG time, and paid the price for struggling throughout BOTH phases. I thought I was NOT going to win this boss fight, and had to restart all again. And yet, despite all of that...
Boosted Hired Help, and triple Heavenly Shine last ditch effort saved me at the last moment I was about to lose lol... such a climatic finish that it felt like something straight out of an anime. 😂
*Enters Opera theatre, sits down, gets comfy, watches as paid Assassins do battle for me*
I hate to be that kind of guy, but lore wose each and every one of them has beef with this god.
A force that upsets nature
An illness that needs to be cured
A target that process something valuable
A threat to a child
A prick picking a fight
A buzzkill ruining everyone's good time
A culprit that needs to be judged
And a source of suffering and inner turmoil.
To the travelers, Vide is the amalgamation of everything they stand against.
Haha you ordered the characters to spell OCTOPATH
Who else took 4 hrs to beat this boss? I start at 4pm and managed to finally defeated it at 8. Just in time for dinner.
Really ? That boss was not that hard but then again i was overleveled . Main character Hikari was 82 others were 77 +
@@jayt2917 yes, supposed it wasn that hard if you’re overleveled. I fight it at an average level 60ish
@@andhikaeka1813maybe you dont have the right equipment, i beat this boss with half my party at lvl 70+ and the other half at below 60
I guess was your gear, at level 40-50 is doable
such and epic boss fight, using all 12 party members

This boss is sooo hard - I haven't beaten it yet and have it rot in the rut.
Secret boss is way harder than this dude
@@Carmen-gl7gethat’s for sure that mf galdera does not fuck around
alguien sabe donde puedo leer la letra lo que dice el cantante ? Does anyone know where I can get the lyrics of what the singer says?
Es un idioma inventado. Igual que la canción de Agnea y la de la jefa final del OT 1.

Fought him at party level 52 except for Hikari (69), Osvald (60) and Temenos (62). It took me a damn hour and a half to beat that damn boss lmao
AN HOUR AND A HALF? HOW? IT’S TAKEN DAYS FOR ME 😭
@@HannahLovesCatsYT LMAO 😭😭 tbh I was lucky to beat it at first try lol
@@ruthfernandez8911 I still haven’t beaten it, though it has been close 😭
@@HannahLovesCatsYT Good luck on beating Vide! I'm sure you'll manage to do It ;) I'd give you advise, but idk how I did It lol
@@ruthfernandez8911 Usually I get further when I don’t play for a while, somehow. This time, I got the conjurer job, and made ochette the conjurer. That definitely helped.
This fight was actually pretty easy, I was honestly expecting a bit more of a challenge, but the music goes HARD!! The OCTOPATH 1 boss was a total nightmare though.
You can fight the octopath 1 final Boss in this game
@@rafaelmorineiva1938 I’m aware, and I did. Still a total nightmare, but I beat it.
@@chrisglare6354it is way easier though. Especially with the new mechanics, skills, and classes make Galdera so much easier to fight.
I'm glad they made Vide easier than Galdera honestly. Galdera was such a busted power spike and tried to be both the final boss and the super boss at once.
2:12 😫🌊🌊
I beat this boss by lagging it out with numbers from the foreign assasins. Best 50k I've spent in this game. Still have a funny video from it.
Very underappreciated game for sure, though you gotta admit getting through all the chapter 1's in this game kinda sucks...
I strongly disagree I loved nearly every chapter 1
Really? Chapter 1’s are the best. Certainly better than some of the final chapters, and definitely better than the mess in the extra stories.
Kinda a letdown of a boss compared to Galdera, music’s fire tho
