It is really hard not to get hyped for this. I love how each final boss incorporates the character's theme into the fight; it gets me pumped every time.
Osvald's theme is one of the best mixes too, specially when on the English VA goes hard (alongside with the soundtrack) " _I_ have changed" I mean, damn.
For me castii went so well with the rain In her final fight with trousseau And happiness with that big motherfucking train made me think of another game that had a fight with a train and a guitar 🤣

Yeah I had a broken team with Hikari armaster, Throne inventor, Osvald arcanist and Temenos dancer and I was evem at level 65, but I still got destroyed 4 times, so I had to destroy his physical attack with Throne and use Temenos to buff everyone defense in order to not get one shotted by his attacks
@@Lucafire09 Personally, I just really like the team-building of octopath. I made a Hikari build that can hit the 99,999 damage cap, make the entire team immortal, and act as a BP battery all at once, and he doesn't even need a subjob to do so
I feel like this one works so well due to how some of the other songs use the flute in it. Critical Clash II being the big one. This just feels like a natural extension to the soundtrack, even if it's not exactly the same instrument.
bc he’s basically the main character lmao in OT1 character roles felt a lot more balanced between the 8 of them but OT2 just straight up feels like hikari is the most important his story is by far the best and has a much greater sense of scale to it than any of the others, his latent power has a role in his character arc and even changes after his ending, and his whole learning enemy skills thing is such a video gamey main character trope of learning new abilities by defeating foes just something i noticed anyway
@@yourehereforthatarentyouagree I feel in ot1 the knight Olberic is also the main character too the warrior is always the main character in every rpg fantasy games and the mage, priest and thieves a always the support character.

No, but he did beckon him.
Warmaster vs Armsmaster
That flute goes hard AF

Think Hikari's theme is the one that mixes best with "journey for ... end" of all eight.
Totally agreed
Osvald's theme is one of the best mixes too, specially when on the English VA goes hard (alongside with the soundtrack) " _I_ have changed"

Agree, but Temenos Theme was also a very good mix. But I do agree that Hikari’s theme mix is the best.

The scariest part about this boss battle (during my 1st blind attempt), was his opportunity to attack 4 times in a row.
