Great video. Yup, it happens to me. I never knew there was a term for it. It usually comes on while im prepping for a wedding. It got so bad that I gave up on doing weddings for a long time. Just because i dont want to ruin anyone's big day. Granted, i had never ruined a wedding prior, BUT that didn't stop my brain from thinking I wasn't qualified to be a good "wedding dj." (38 years of mobile experience)

You should pre-wire your truss with HDMI, lights, & DMX like the power. Think about it. You drop the truss then go from truss to splitter for HDMI and to the wall for power and you're done. I have my wireless DMX plugged into the power and into a light on mine then run it via DMX cable to another light. I even have another power and DMX cable hidden in there incase I do a different setup.. You can also do it for speaker wires. I have a smaller truss and put my JBL SRX 835P on it.. It's a real time saver and everything is ready to go no digging or forgetting anything.
I like that. I definitely want to fix lights in there.

Hi Travis was so interested in this video for projected and TV effects while performing on stage and also to offer DJ as extension to performing. I am also a Santa Claus so possibly taking this to new places for kids. Like to have seen the scrolling of names that you show for weddings and either what font or software you use. I live in Wales UK but have recently learned a word that sums up your vids 'dope' - awesome keep up the great work.
My next event is on New Years day at the Wind in the willows. It is the polar bear plunge. Also this is cool.

I have 2 questions
How much gb do you need to operate you tv visual affect
(2nd) Mac or pc
You can sync the bpm with Serato with Ableton Link. It’s included in the app. As long as your two laptops are on the same network.
Are you familiar with how to use this? I recently purchased remix video and I have linked both computers, one with serato dj pro and the other with remix video. I have them linked. I just don’t know how to use it from that point on.
Travis when creating a brides and grooms name in canva.... I find a good thing to do is ...... I change the background color to gray, then I go to the names and change the color of the names to white, then I go back to the background and make it all black...... and save the file. When I project it on a wall, or in my mixvibe software it looks fine. I don't have any issues the letters being out of focus or maybe I'm not seeing it.... I'm not a video pro but that seems to work for me and all my monograms. Cheers!

Any chance you can share your snowflakes, fireworks etc packs as I have looked on the websites you have mentioned and it looks like they are not available to my region (Australia).
One question though with your 50ft (Approx 15 meters) HDMI cables, do you have any issues with signal at that length as I've read that anything over about 12 meters will cut out if you are transmitting at 1080p. I have 10 meter cables to combat this but will be interested to hear your thoughts since you already have longer cables than me.

The demo worked great, I even loaded some clips from the suggested sites. But when I bought the basic software it will not load the same clips as before. Can't seem to get any tech support either.

It is a word picture with a transparent background that I loaded into the program. There is a way to do text in the program but I wanted to confront the font.

I’m thinking of getting into video monogram I have a couple of questions
What’s price range to charge a client?
(2nd) can you have two different monogram going at the same time
Example on your two totems have mr and mrs smith and on your Dj booth your company?
To answer the 2nd question. You can have different things on each TV. Think of it as multiple monitors like a computer setup. It just depends on how you run the hdmi cords.
The pricing depends on your market and if you are buying a digital monogram. I would look at your competition and see what they charge to offer something competitive. I tend to charge cheaper at first so that I’m able to use it at an event to get pictures and reviews to market it at a higher price in the future.

Hey Travis!! Did you eventually purchase the remixvideo software, if so which one (regular or pro) and why? Were you able to install on different computers or did you have to purchase the software for each computer?
I did purchase remix video pro just because it was cheap and I got extra videos. I have not tried installing it on more than one computer at this time

Great video. How do you only show what you want the quest to see on the TV’s? And not when you’re loading visuals, and everything else on the laptop.

Not really. I had a gig last month and it worked out on its own. But I’m not sure what I diid. I’m gonna try again this evening.

Do you have the link for the tv mount and the truss clamp? I feel like I got the same mount but the screw on my clamp which is a 10mm is just too big and won't fit through. Thanks!
Mine were too big too. I used a drill to widen the slit on the mount more

Hey Travis. I'm using 2 TV's. With 2 laptops. One vdj pro and the other vdj pro older version. One laptop is new and the other isn't. I'm using a HDMI splitter 2 to 1 like the one u are using. And also a one to 2 spitter for the 2 TV's. Why does the vídeo and music stop when I hit the splitter to go to computer 2? Isn't it suppose to be continuous or is my splitter faulty?

Unless I'm mistaken. I thought I saw a part that showed you can change the bpm so it matches the song you're playing.
Hey Travis this is DJ-ANDREW In San Antonio Tx. I’m moving from Traktor to Serato and now I have the option to use videos and Visuals. But what you recommend; Serato Video or Mix-vibes??
im dont recommend mix-vibes if youre using a newer Mac. Im not sure if they updated their program but I have since moved off of it. I would say use Serato video if your using music videos to match with the music but use and different program if you are using visuals

The only difference is the amount of stock video footage they give you.

Depending on which program you bought the original videos are in the settings somewhere. I don’t remember exactly how to get there but I remember seeing them

This video is about 2 years old. The he company never kept up with Mac updates and doesn’t do it anymore
I cant get the video to work
So I purchased the pro version, and I can't get the visuals to appear at all in the screen on the upper left side, and they won't show up on my TV either. What could be the problem I'm having with it?
I’m not sure. Try hitting space bar or play so that the circle in the top middle is spinning. I’d need more info
@@DjTravisNey Is there a way I'd be able to show you what is going on with it? The TV array service is something that my company has introduced new this year, and with it not working correctly it's a problem.

Remixvideo software only available for PC...
That first one is not a splitter, it’s an HDMI selector switch. This is why deejays should stick to deejaying and leave AV to the professionals

Can you tell me how to change remix video layer without tv screen going back to windows?
If I understand what your asking, the icon in the top right of remix video allows you to maximize the visual on a tv and keeping all the windows or squares up on your laptop in remix video.

Can you explain how you got the mr and Mrs video portion in the application and also how to get it to constantly stay? I tried to put a video in with names but after the video time ended the writing disappears while the background effects stay.
I don’t use this program anymore. Might have something to do with the name not being on an auto loop and disappearing once the clip ends.

@@maclemcke5070 I haven’t made a video o. It yet really. It’s ecamm. Remixvideo has updated their software for the new Mac OS and it’s giving me problems. Ecamm is for streaming but can be used for what I need

I don’t think so but I haven’t tried. The program is not compatible with newer Mac OS systems I found out recently. Just fyi

Yeah. I made them in a separate program. You make any font you want. You will just need a transparent background
