I feel like war lions make a good pairing with dragons to help the dragons when they get swarmed by infantry
Seeing those two moon dragons still at full hp after all this intense fighting must have been the signal to tap out for the GS player
As a High Elf enjoyer it's nice to see them actually doing respectable in competitive multiplayer for once

@@_khaine You were fine and responded well to the various threats, I would have been done in 5 minutes, I think this is actually where WHIII sort of fails in the MP department. Noobie chickens like me are quickly overwhelmed even if we tell our opponent we are clueless, the learning curve is so steep and it takes more than regular patience to get anywhere. Unfortunately battling the AI brings forth bad habits and straying from those is difficult. I guess WWIII is too "small" of a game to implement a ladder system.

Really cool game and that shoot at the start with the Goblins charging into the Silverin with their spears lined up, looked like straight out of Lord of the Rings haha.

I don't think I've ever seen the greenskins win one of these. I don't play a lot of MP but I enjoy Turins videos. I hear tales that they're pretty average to good and do fine, in lots of matchups, but I swear 80% (or higher) of the time they show up in these matches they get krumped.

From a pure visual perspective, dragons lost their luster for me once the Chorf taurus units came in; they are just so much bigger and impressive-looking.

Also do you think getting those Black Orc Heroes (not sure what they were called) for their Terror Resistance Aura would've been clutch here? I don't know how great they are outside of that.
If you mount him, so he wouldn't be knocked out by monsters, they can do real work against single entities. Really big attack and solid AP damage is a no joke even for dragons)

Orcs could have just held two points and played defensively, since the Elves also didn't bring too much ranged units. Pushing the third point with their boar riders was pointless and allowed them to get taken out.

Fanatics didn't do great, think if he used some archers in his starting army it would have gone better, never underestimate the impact a couple goblin/Peasant/skeleton archers can have for a melee centric army. Also you think a River Troll Hag for Spirit Leech and Bjuna would do well here? They're very shootable but this army was low on arrows.
Wurzag was already using all the winds there and performed well enough, the Silverin Guards got crumped pretty hard and the Sun Dragon almost died on the surround. Spirit Leech spam could've sniped Alarielle and prevented healing, but the dragons would've still been there. Goblin fanatics were really the weak link there, it's really hard to get a good angle on the swing in general and the HE side didn't have much models, so they either did friendly fire or were wasted. Night Goblin Archers probably would've done a lot here, since poison is more useful against single entities.

A doom diver or two would shrek those silverin and dragon princes. Keep some big boy boars in reserve to defend them from dragons/princes. Also just a few 300ish gold arrers will get tons of value vs those dragons, especially with effigy (and if you rly want to be mean you also bring a stripped down hag with just mither).
