I accidentally reset my DStv decorder and did it my own way just to end up with 13 channels 😂😂
After watching this the channels are now 486 and everything is ok thanks a lot

Can i use any LNB for my DStv HD decorder? Like the strong?
And can i use a strong pan for my DStv HD decorder?
Yes, you can Use any Universal / Unicable LNB for the Dstv installation. And a dish ranging from 50cm and above can be used the track for the Dstv signal. You can use the Strong Pan as well. 🙏🏾

Hi I bought a decoder from south Africa. To use it in Mozambique. I want to watch south African channels. But they are not showing. Only showing channel 100. Please help
Big boss. Please help me here. I bought a new Model 8S decoder. I went through the whole process of upgrading but there's no where I was asked to enter and number. Now the decoder only shows channel 100. I see this decoder does not have any slot for the smart card. So how do I link my card to the decoder?

Press On Help
Press On General Information
You'll find The IUC number of the decoder which will be required for activation. Then On The Help Page look for (Contact Centre) and call your country office number for activation.

You can access only DStv FTA channels

I think 90s generations can use the DStv decoder and I've downloaded an app called,DStv app and I'm starting to learn how to use it very slowly.

Your need either FTA decoder or plasma TV with an in-built satellite. Go-to Menu, Installation, Satellite Settings, look for Transponder (TP) and add the DStv TP (12245 H 27500) save. Then let someone monitor it for you whiles rotating the satellite dish to get the signal.
