- Here is my tribute to Green Goblin from the 90's Spider-Man animated series. Imo Neil Ross feels underrated as Green Goblin so I thought I'd make this video to show and appreciate his performance. In terms of animation, he's my second favorite Goblin behind Steve Blum's from Spectacular.

Great tribute to the Goblin that’d go on to inspire the Raimi/DaFoe Goblin we all love. Neil Ross did amazing in the dual role. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Beautiful, hard to believe how few appearances he actually made as goblin. But every one really nailed both scenes as Norman and Green Goblin. Love the tense feel of this.
I wish we saw an appearance of the green goblin in x-men 97 season 2 if in the finale they gave us a cameo by Peter and Mary Jane giving indications that he was able to save her but Norman could have returned too
Neil Ross is fantastic, he somehow takes a rather silly whimsical voice and manages to give it a menacing edge. The music you put in really puts his entire performance into a better light, this is my favourite Green Goblin comic voice.
It actually saddens me people don't talk about Neil Ross' Green Goblin much anymore or bring him in the conversation as one of the Best Green Goblins, because he's up there with Willem Dafoe as one of the BEST for me.
If I might say this is the best Spider-Man series in the whole world

Great tribute btw. My favorite version of Norman Osborn's Green Goblin.
This was insane! I always love this Goblin. For sure in my top 3 next to Blum and William Defoe. I think the voice and personality fits the tone of the 60’s to 70’s era of the comics. Regardless, this show was my childhood and was where the Goblin became my favorite Marvel villain. He is Spider-Man’s true nemesis even with the small appearances he made, he left a impact in the show. 🔥
This was a nice thing to do! This is definitely one of my favorite versions of Green Goblin and one of my favorite cartoon villains overall. The video showcases the character’s motivations and dark nature well, good job
Same it's the very reason I was a green goblin fan and venom and carnage fan was this show's version of the characters. They're just so well done and designed.

This is great to see, I think it’s fair to say this Green Goblin was among many people’s introduction to the character so it’s really satisfying to see him get the treatment Dafoe’s Goblin has gotten, recently.

I think Neil Ross is still the best voice of Norman/Goblin to date. The way he was able to so rapidly switch between the two personalities practically on a whim is just an incredible feat of acting.

The single best version of the character outside of the comics. I still think Willem Dafoe is the best performance, but keep in mind, THIS was the version Sam Raimi took inspiration from when he created his version of the Goblin for movie.

Green Goblin should have been brought back in the Secret War Saga as the final villain.
Since Spider-Man Tas 98 is most likely to happen there is no other villian to finish this show on then Green Goblin, so dont worry he will most likely be back, and i agree with you on your comment

I really liked how you put the dialogues and the scenes.

If I had to choose Ross would be second and Blum third as Rachins voiced Osborn in spite of being the only truly faithful version Spectacular Goblin was rather boring as his only goal was to conquer the criminal underworld he never took it further than that 94 Osborn's love for Harry was not as prominent as it was in the Raimi film and was still a ruthless businessman regardless of being a flunky for Kingpin and the Goblin being Norman's true self brought to the surface works much better cause he's able to make things more personal in Spectacular there never felt like there was a deep connection with Norman and Peter that 94 and Raimi had though in different ways plus he never tried to learn Spidey's identity despite his massive hatred for him and when asked by a reporter due Venom trying to out him Norman says "is this a joke" and dismisses it so in Spectacular's cancellation Venom is the only who knows Spidey's secret.
I don’t think there will be better portrayal of the goblin than Willem Dafoe, but this is easily runner up

hobgoblin isn't Norman's enemy why his goblin personality tells him otherwise?
In this show’s version of events Osborn created Hobgoblin to try and take out Fisk. He then was betrayed when Hobgoblin sold him out.

@@noahsmith4877 I think that was because Marvel or Arad produced a lot of Hobgoblin toys and they forced the anime teqm to expose him a lot.
