i used to have a bunch of washers spacing it out but i really didn’t like the drone, poor top end, and how i could feel all the vibrations. so i got a valve. excited to see how that axle back will sound and ride if you get it.
I just purchased a 2008 LS 460. I haven’t done anything to mine except K&N filters. I wouldn’t like smelling the fumes. The muffler delete seems to sound good but I’m 65 years old too.

Just do a resonator delete if muffler delete is too loud

Maybe do a cat delete and leave the mufflers. It'll free up a lot of restrictions and give it more power and mpg, and it won't be obnoxiously loud either.
