The GTA SA “Myth” era was something special. I remember staying up late watching modded SA videos of guys claiming to find Bigfoot, Leatherface, Aliens all with the X Files theme in the background. Good times
same with us later gen kids. we used to watch hours worth of gta 5 chilliad mystery, jetpack, gta 6, all that and looking back on it now at 17, it was some awesome times

I used to be neck-deep into the Mt Chiliad mystery. After some time, I figured that people who were smarter than me, had more resources, and have searched through all of the code didn't come up with anything... so I gave up. Of course, leave it to Rockstar to monetize the "secrets," like the jetpack. Mystery over. We're overdue for GTA 6.

The three down simbols are the characters (Trevor Michael and Franklin) the X are the 5 quests (story side missions and other 3) to have 100% completion to see the UFO.

Think: All R* did was put a weird pic on top of the mountain, and let the speculation run rife! Their official stance was to never "confirm nor deny" the existence of a mystery built into the game, and this absence of evidence served to reinforce the conspiracy theory. With the game's exposure across social media like CZcams, Reddit, Facebook, etc, they sold a record-breaking number of copies- all without lifting a finger or spending a dime! The players provided all of the exposure and advertising that any company could wish for, and more! That is why it took so many years for the Doomsday heist to be released- the hype was finally starting to wear off, serious hunters were turning into clickbaiters, and it was becoming clear that there was no solution. I can't wait to see what they do for the next installment in the franchise...

Yeah, the whole point of the mystery was supposed to tease single player DLC that never came out, apparently one of those DLCs was going to be an Undead Nightmare type story where Aliens invade San Andreas. all of those cancelled DLC were recycled into GTA Online content, it makes me so fucking sad

The crappy plane from GTA3 can be flown for an infinite amount of time. Just push the nose down as you take off along the runway and the plane will pick up incredible speed. Keep pushing the nose down and going along the runway and eventually you'll take off so fast that you can pretty much keep it in the air forever. Just don't make any sharp turns and make sure you keep pushing the nose down occasionally to gain more speed, then pulling back up to regain altitude. Figured this shit out when I was 12.
yeah, and the game doesn't crash when you're flying it. it's the same as being on any other part of the map.

Fun fact: san andreas doesnt have big foot, but it has a ghost car that tries ro run you over if you walk in a forest (i think it was beside chilliad but i cant recall the exact location) 100% not a mod i found it myself in the 360 version

GTA is my favorite series of all game series. Can't wait for GTA6. I think the Chiliad mystery is really just a shallow thing connected to the ufo on chiliad. There are so many awesome things to find in GTA games making them more interesting.

The Doomsday heist only increased the overall mystery, since it literally added 4 new murals to the game that hint at 4 mysteries (one being the peyote one). One of those murals (the yellow one) hints that the Chiliad mural is just a small part of the bigger mystery.

The Dodo to the intro section wasn't found years later it took about a week or two, I remember people on GameFAQs discussing it and personally went too!! The dodo is pretty easy to fly, oyu just gotta level it and the take off part that's the hardest. And even if you wouldnXt be able to fly the dodo, a tank was much more maneuvreable as a flying vehicle!
Bigfoot was actually in gta v for real though, in the mission where you hunt down the remaining O’Neils

that still ends up being solved which is the main reason for this list.
This definitely shows a few patterns in rockstars perspective! If people would just play through all the story modes again and really pay attention, I’m sure we would all have a pretty good understanding in what’ll be happening with GTA6.

There was somewhat an infinite health cheat for the ps2 version. But it mainly made you somewhat bulletproof (getting shot by the police helicopter would still lower your health) and made you fireproof. But as for fall damage and being near explosions you would still die

The top 1 easter egg was literally found a day after release.
At 10:50 says that when the next gen consoles came out (xbox one and PS4) more was found out about the Mountchiliad mystery. Which means with the new version of gta 5 coming out for PS5 and Xbox series x we could see the mystery expand.
